"Probably the worst CVS I have encountered since I've had my scripts filled with CVS. Misinformation, rude and unprofessional behavior to say the least. I live in Florida now am visiting family in the area. The only reason I stick with CVS is because I travel a lot and usually have no problem having my scripts filled outside of my "home" CVS pharmacy in FL....until now. 2 scripts transferred from FL to have filled in Bay Shore..one is ready the other one they tell me will be ready the next day after 3 because they had to order it. I know how unreliable their text system is so while at Target doing other shopping the next day I stop to see if my script is ready...nope they tell me tomorrow after 3. Next day I call and they tell me my insurance won't approve filling it because it's too soon...I actually went over the time I could renew it..then the pharmacy tech checks with the pharmacist after I insist I speak with him/her and he says the medicine is still on back order. I have just enough of the meds until I get home to FL. I called CVS there and they tell me they will hold the medication ( which they filled) until I can pick it up.."

"I have visited this pharmacy many times in my life. Never have I or my family been subject to such rude behavior pharmacy staff. The staff, specifically the pharmacy manager Bryan, was blatantly disrespectful of my mother's time and couldn't be bothered to help problem solve a billing issue with my prescription or clear communicate best next steps. We'd asked him to call the insurance company and see best next steps to correct the coverage since it was a prescription normally covered by my insurance, he said he would and it would take "some time" while also making rude aside comments that were whole unnecessary. He walked away "to look into it" without any further detail of timing, casting the prescription aside and when we asked another associate she said it would be about 5 mins. We gave the pharmacy more than a half hour and came back; which in that time nothing was done and when we returned were not acknowledged. It was clear in the 30 mins, they played us for the fool and wrote us off because he couldn't be bothered. Had he answered that he didn't have time to call that day, we would of done it ourselves rather than be played and treated not properly as a patient just looking for clarity and help. Fast forward after a quick 20 min phone call with the insurance company that evening, which this pharmacy team could have easily done when we were there, it was the supply amount that needed to be changed to be covered as usual. The lack of help, rude attitude, and lack of clear communication by this team has turned me off to using this location as a whole future-forward."
"Every time I have to refill a prescription there seems to be an issue. For instance, Just last week I call to see if a prescription is ready and the automated system they use on the phone had said it was filled. I went to the pharmacy to pick it up, only for them to say that it wasn’t ready. I told the woman at the register that the automated system on the phone had said it was filled. She couldn’t give me an answer. I asked to speak to the pharmacist and she rudely snapped back at me saying that he was not in the pharmacy at the moment. I asked her when he would be back and she had no answer. Hours later I go home and call the pharmacy again to see if it was filled. The automated system on the phone now says that it isn’t filled yet. I then finally get in touch with the pharmacist who tells me the prescription has been ready for the last few hours. The few hours ago I was there and someone told me that he wasn’t there. I also seem to have reoccurring back order problem on certain medications. I have used target for my prescriptions for many years now, but ever since CVS took over the pharmacy it has been very problematic. I never had these problems when it was just target pharmacy. Will be considering switching to a different pharmacy."
