Budget Car Rental

"Horrible Customer service. I rented a vehicle and brought it back 1 hour earlier than I had said I would return it. I also filled the vehicle up. No one was at the counter when I went there, so I completed the fast break form and put the keys in their drop box. When I looked at my receipt, I was charged an extra day and $15.92 for a gas tank. When I called to question the bill, the guy on the other end screamed at me and said that if I picked it up at 2:00pm, I had to return it at 2:00pm when I reserved."

"I was charged extra for gas despite returning the vehicle with more fuel than it had when I picked it up. And the price point was $9.89/gal. I don’t know if it’s an intentional way of squeezing money out of customers and hoping they don’t realize or simply incompetence but it is frustrating! Vehicle was fine, no issues otherwise."

"There was no windshield washer fluid in the reservoir. The gas tank was literally on empty when we picked it up. We had agreed to only match the amount of gas in the tank, but nobody warned us that we would have to find a gas station as soon as we left the airport. Literally, the fuel light went on as soon as we left the airport. I am not exaggerating. And when we told the clerk, upon return, he didn’t care. Not gonna rent from this place again. We asked for a Volkswagen Jetta and got a Dodge charger instead. It’s a nice engine, but the tech on it was very old. Couldn’t even get a map on the screen for navigation and there was no way to safely mount my cell phone so that I could use the GPS on my phone. Never again!"

"Very unprofessional service. Didn’t take the time to hear out the concerns we were having. After our first car from Savannah Airport had a “Service Air Bag” light on, they (HHI Airport) gave us a car that smelled like body odor and the car was not in good cosmetic shape."
