"Great little spot to stop at and catch fantastic river views. The boat landing is well taken care of with a solid ramp for inserting/trailering of a boat. The dock is sturdy and a good spot for fishing, taking a break, or taking pictures of the bridge or the surrounding forest and river. I watched a fierce storm come rolling in with crazy winds and blinding lightening strikes off in the distance. If you're driving through and wanna take a break from the road this is a great place that rarely has many people at any given time."
"Love this place! I am so upset they are trying to tear it down and do something else with it, and for what?? There is nothing wrong with the pier now and the money could go to SO MANY OTHER THINGS that Beaufort needs right now."
"Spacious for fishing. Kids may get bored as there's no playground, but if you take some toys they should have fun. Restrooms but no concessions so take your picnic with you as there are tables on the old bridge (now pier). Seemed to be ample parking for trailers and seemed to be great access to the waters."
