"Please be aware that if you have a 89 year old family member in what would be considered reasonably urgent need of a consult, you will be told to wait a month. In my view, I do not think they understand the concept of "89" ... the shortage of chronological time and our urgent need to get ID so that we can establish a Living Will. Having explained this, they were unmoved. An absolutely rotten way to make a favorable first impression. Your word might be "uncaring"."
