Duane Reade Pharmacy 1915 3rd Avenue, Manhattan, New York 10029

"After trying to get my diabetic supplies for mail order from CVS and it took a month in a half and still no help...I finally went to Duane Reade with a new prescription that was sent from my Dr's office AND GOT MY SUPPLIES IN ONE HOUR. I don't care what anyone says about Duane Reade, your pharmacy is a ROCKSTAR!!! AND CVS SUCKS!!!"

"This pharmacy is an absolute MESS. Avoid at all costs. Some of the staff are trying their hardest, but they seem to be short staffed and struggle to dispense medications in a timely manner. There are consistently 15+ people having to wait in line at all times. I waited over TWO HOURS to receive a flu shot that I had scheduled ahead of time. When I called twice later on about a documentation question, I was on hold for 45 minutes each time. Once I was "caller number one" I literally heard the phone picked up and then I was immediately hung up on. So, apparently they don't have time to take phone calls, either..."

"if i could give this place LESS stars, i would. my partner and i are both users of this pharmacy for over 2 years and it is as horrible as it has been since day one. they are slow, incompetent, only worried about themselves and RUDE. also you can’t purchase anything from the store at the pharmacy, so you are mandated to wait on two lines. today I went in for. prescription that was sent in 4 hours prior. after waiting for 35 minutes on line (they were closing a register while there was a 15 person line), i was met with a worker who kept looking at her phone while i told her my name. when. i asked how long i would have to wait she was snarky and told me 45 minutes, while they closed in 50 minutes. i asked if it would be worth it to come down when they would almost be closed and she said they would still be open snarky. i tried to get her name for a reference for when i came back, and she refused to give me her name and refused to speak to me after i asked for her name. while i was waiting in line for 35 minutes i witnessed people stand in front of things that were locked waiting for assistance, workers standing on their and phones doing nothing, just to name a few incompetent actions by the workers there."

"This has got to be the most unorganized pharmacy I've ever been to. Getting prescriptions here are an absolute disaster and the one girl working there is nasty ! Go get your script else where bc if not you'll wait in line for an hour then your script won't even be available"

"My health insurance requires mail order to receive benefit pricing but they’ve been out of my medication for a while now so they referred it out. I can my prescription provider last week 10/13 and they transferred it. Telling me the pharmacy would call me in 24-48 hours, still haven’t from them (168 hours). So I called to check, I have now been on hold 26 minutes with no human coming to the phone to answer."
