"The good: clean facility, lots of equipment, extremely nice staff. The not so good: high priced (I’m paying $50+ monthly pass but that’s because I’m frequently out of town, I’m always waiting to use the equipment no matter what time of day I’ve tried but Charleston is exploding in population so that’s not their fault, also despite the high cost of monthly pass I can’t sign up for classes because it’s reserved for contract members first. This is my only real problem with them, if I’m paying 20 bucks more than everyone else I should at least be allowed to sign up easily for classes. So 3 stars for some minor inconveniences."

"I go back and forth between the Charleston and Summerville facilities, but this one is ideal based on location from home, while the other is close to work. Both have everything I need in a gym, and more."

"Canceled membership and they somehow sent me to collections and said my account wasn't closed. Didn't want to fight and just paid the collection agency. Called afterward to verify my account was closed. A year later I find out they never closed it and they turned my account into collections again. Haven't used their service in over 2 years and still paying for it after I canceled. Will be in touch with the manager. If no help there going straight to BBB/lawyer. Be wary of this company, they won't let you leave even if you cancel."

"DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM. IT SEEMS TO BE IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL. Being a military spouse, I had to cancel my membership before moving to Guam. I went into the club and signed my cancelation. I was informed that I would be charged one more month due to when I canceled (this was in March). I was then charged $30 again in May… I disputed the charge and called the club and they said I would be refunded. Then again I was charged in June… disputed. Then again in JULY, THEN NOW IN AUGUST. I have a 15 hour time difference here in Guam making this even more inconvenient. The unprofessionalism of cancelation and the SCAM of charging me over $120 dollars is ridiculous. Do not sign up for this gym!"

"I’ve worked out here for almost 8-9 months and didn’t want to leave review until I got multiple session in. So far it has been pretty good and it has everything you could possibly want as far as working out. The equipment aren’t the best for example the bench press padding is really stiff and no cushion but you’ll get use to it. There’s always multiple equipment that is down for maintenance or service and takes a while for them to fix. I pay 15 a month so no complaints. I was pay 36 per month for YMCA."
