Ferguson Fishing Charters

"My husband Leo booked this charter and Mr Ferguson was amazing. Even though I started getting sick he cast my pole to catch fish. My husband caught a 26 inch pike and we got several nice perch. Was an awesome time especially for me since it was first time out on a boat. Was awesome till it got super wavy. All in all it was amazing and would definitely recommend this charter"

"Visiting Thousand Islands and decided rather last minute to look into 1/2 day fishing trip. As someone who never leaves reviews but always reads them, I was a little hesitant since there was only one review here from several years ago. Rest assured this is a quality outfit and you will have a good time. Captain Clay is a lifelong resident and fisherman with a beautiful old boat. He took our group including 3 teens out for a 4 hour trip, and in the end we had a cooler full of perch and some pike. Captain Clay is a reserved but knowledgeable and friendly guide. His wife who booked us was equally friendly and helpful. As he said, if you love what you do you will never stop working. Thank you to Ferguson charters for a memorable trip!"

"Amazing trip with great knowledgable captain. Born in area knows the area well and history. Years of great stories and simple a great guide. He uses a 1951 wooden chriscraft that is very well maintained. as his boat and it is best boat I seen used for a charter. Been on fancy high end boats all over and this one is my favorite. The history and craftsmanship of the boat is like nothing today. It rides like a Cadillac threw the water. I also had pleasure of enjoying his shore lunch he uses fat back rendered down to oil to fit your fish to perfection. And trust me if havent had fish fried in fatback worth it. Bonus is fat back ssndwirched while he cooks the fish and the sides. After you stuff yourself with fresh fish and everything . He the makes a French toast as desert. It is the best french toast I had being fried also in fat back. I changes texture to crisp shell with fluffy center. I have enjoyed this 3 times in recent years and never disappointment on trip at all and especially to meal he cooks. Consistent perfectly cooked food over wood fire."
