Reviews of United States Postal Service
"I've been shipping my packages here alot and the staff are extremely friendly everytime! My packages arrive safely and its much more affordable for me than other shipping companies I had inquired."
"Went to the West Carthage Post Office to fill out mail forwarding, filled out 3 different forms with the letter “B” in the new address and they still processed it as a “6”. The incompetence to read the address I wrote down and correctly forward my mail is inexcusable and potentially leading to mail disruption. No wonder that USPS is hemorrhaging money every year."
"The mail that is routed to Carthage is horrible. Still waiting on an envelope that was sent last Sunday from Pennsylvania and a package that was sent on Wednesday and the tracking says it will be delivered today 3 October. It hasn’t even been routed from Rochester NY."
"This usps office is negligent and the manager is rude. They had a very important package that we were awaiting anxiously to be delivered as my husband needed it for his physical therapy to try and regain the use of his hand after a terrible accident. I understand the employees have no idea what are in packages and how there none delivery effects there postal customers. However this package after many phone calls and endless hours on the phone was sitting inside the post office for five days. I went to pick up the package as soon as I found its whereabouts or who knows how long I would have been waiting for it to be delivered. They new I was on route to the facility to retrieve my package they lost inside there very small building. Whom I believe to be the manager on my arrival asked my name and handed over the package in a very unfriendly and rude manner as though it was my fault they failed us. The negligence of this facility can ultimately cause my husband to endure additional surgeries and the possible none use of his hand. Completely disappointed and call for a new manager/supervisor to turn this less than standard facility around. Very unfortunate I live within this postal community."
"Not impressed with the inconsistent delivery times and one evening I was sitting in my living room, anticipating a package delivery- and they apparently input in their system they "attempted" to deliver at 6 at night but "couldn't find a secure location"... I am currently waiting for another package today that has been "out for delivery" since 9:10 am - mail is usually in our boxes by 11:30, lately its been around 1pm... Its currently 3:30 pm and I saw her truck drive by up to the apartments behind us and the ones of too the left but have not seen her drive down our road to deliver mail yet- I haven't paid enough attention to know for certain what her route usually is but I *thought* she usually drove down our road first and then did a u-turn at the oxford st and went back up to whispering woods after us... We'll see if I get my mail today. Also leaves notes in our mailboxes about how we need to clear several feet of snow and nice from around our box in the middle of winter- which the towns snowplows are responsible for packing in there... Yeah, lady, my plastic shovel can't do jack for 3 feet of ice that a 2-ton plow pushed in there. Thanks for withholding my mail.... and then "she can't see our mail box in the spring and summer and has driven past it because of the foilage and grass growing there"... That the town is *supposed* to maintain... Its because my mailbox is black, and everyone else's is white, isn't it? Sarcasm aside- really not impressed with these postal workers."
