"Awesome playground for a wide variety of ages. The main feature is a large ship climber. It has nets, ladders, slides, and mist cannons that kids can fire. There is also a more traditional climber set for younger kids. Other play features include a flowing stream-pool for kids to walk through, swings, and a sand play space. There are lots of benches for parents and shaded picnic tables. The playground is borders by a stream (separated by fencing) and there are viewing decks. Public bathrooms are also clean and conveniently placed. Great place for kids to run around!"

"Very well designed playground with bathrooms. Main playground structure designed after The Adventure, the ship of Captain William Hilton for whom Hilton Head is named. There is a separate adjacent playground structure for toddlers and preschoolers. Swings and spring riders are also spread out throughout. Adventure Playground is also adjacent to the Sandbox Children's Museum."

"Favorite playground my kids have been to (ages 3 and 5), this place was great! Everything is so new, the park itself is beautiful and has a lot of different sections. Mister cannons, swings, pond, teeter totter, slides, obstacles and more. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Hilton Head."
