"The Eisenhower Park Pro Shop is an excellent place to purchase anything you need as a golfer. They are also a learning center, so whether you are new to golf or need some help with a part of your game that needs some help this is where you can get it from a full staff of teaching pros. The owner, Bob Posillico has been my go to guy for years when I need help improving my game...he is a master teacher. If you have a child who is interested in learning to play golf they have a junior camp in the summer. This is a first class facility you will be happy to use for your golfing needs."
"I recently was fitted for a new driver and added 20 yards on average contact and 30 plus yards on sweet contact drives. I ended up getting the Callaway Rogue st max. They set the club at 9° neutral with the right weight and flexibility in the shaft. I now hit bullet drives with alot of roll out. It has helped me lower my handicap from 9.5 to 6.9. The professional service and knowledge are the best around. Bobby and John were awesome and they know their trade. 5 star treatment."
"Pro shop is pretty nice, a decent selection and has social distancing measures in place. Played the blue course and it was nice and straight forward. Some tee boxes were very unkept and some tree-ridden areas had rough that was basically dirt and was hard as concrete. It was the end of August though, so I'll cut them some slack being a public golf course. Pace of play was pretty good as well. I was going to dock this two stars but am only docking it to 4 stars because of their twilight hours. We were told the only tee time they had available for a foursome for 18 holes was at 4:24pm and that it did not qualify as twilight hours. Now, I can understand twilight hours starting at 4:30 or later in the beginning of July when it's still light till almost 9pm, but once the summer goes on and on, a 4:24 tee time is not enough time for a full round of golf even if you're playing at a good pace. For an out of county resident (I'm from Queens), I payed 13 dollars extra for the full rate and wasn't even able to finish my round as it got too dark. I wouldn't mind if that had happened and we had paid for twilight rates. I wish that they would move up the times of twilight as the sun goes down for that issue that I'm sure many others have run into as well. I've learned my lesson for now and will play earlier, but I hope they consider updating twilight play in the future so if I'm jipped a few holes, at least I paid a lower price. If we had finished the whole course, it's a nice and affordable place to play."
"I went with my family and my baby and we had an AWFUL experience. First the lady behind the counter was rude and very unfriendly. Second, one of my family members got a blister from the club and needed a band aid, I went to ask for one and the lady gave me a huge attitude saying no. How do they not have a first aid kit on hand? Third, I went to change my baby in the bathroom and they had no changing tables for me to do so. I had to change her on a bench! I’m sure I’m not the first person to bring a baby."
"Typical of a government run municipality, the driving range is just ok. It gets busy on really nice days and weekends. The pro shop has friendly and helpful staff. However, usually you have to go searching for buckets for the balls. You would think that having some of the highest taxes in the country would enable the county to afford better services. Sadly, that money is lining the pockets of useless politicians."
