Reviews of Summit Adventure Park Charleston
"My son had his party here this past Saturday and it was beyond busy. I had a party of 20 and I would like to say my hostess was super sweet and helpful but she was also helping multiple big parties at the same time. So every time another child in my party needed their wrist bands and socks they had to wait. On multiple occasions when she was trying to help my party with wrist bands or passing out pizza cutting the cake people from the other parties were interrupting mine so they can be helped. By the end most my guest left before even getting their goody bags because I had to wait for her to finish helping another party. After wards I called and spoke to the manager Steven B. he didn’t apologize and said that’s how they schedule the parties and that’s how things are done there. I spent 100’s of dollars on this party and they didn’t even have the right decorations up. It was supposed to be ninja turtles but they had Scooby doo. When I told them they said they didn’t have any more ninja turtle stuff. They could have at least called me a couple days earlier and told me so I could try and exchange my ninja turtle cake to match their theme. All in all very disappointed in the manager Steven B and the attitude he had on the phone."
"Absolutely horrible experience. This place is unhinged and lacking any management oversight. Completely understand Saturdays are busy at these places, however I have NEVER seen kids allowed to behave in the manner they were. Parents should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. We left 10 minutes after arrival and will never return. Highly recommend going with Flight Adventure Park in N. Charleston. Edited to respond to owner: There is no email made available or on your website. We did purchase tickets I can show you both the purchase receipt and refund receipt, which by the way I had to argue with the cashier on to get a full refund. To give specifics (which you can see on your cameras you have already reviewed and relayed inaccurate information on) you will see that after my kids finish doing the jump game and attempt to jump on individual trampolines there were numerous kids that were running past my kids in addition to a child who slammed into the back of my daughter. As referenced there were almost no employees to be found monitoring any of the areas. I only saw one gentleman handling a few complaints from other parents. My youngest went to do the jump area and I was waiting to video her, no organization, kids cutting in line, and no employee to be found until someone came to remove a mother who was on the jump pad without approved socks. This is when you will find us changing shoes and going to get a refund. Please don't misrepresent the facts. I did purchase tickets, I did have to argue for a full refund, I did experience unruly children and lack of oversight and management all of which you can upload your camera footage to prove. My review is of my experience that I state was on a weekend during multiple parties. There needs to be monitoring at all events by employees for liability purposes in my opinion. There needs to be a limit on tickets for safety in my opinion."
"We are making good use of our membership. Membership allows you to use the service for free for only 2 hours per day, but 2 hours is enough. The facilities are diverse and children can have fun doing various activities. Weekdays are very relaxed. I went there several times after the kids got off school and it was relaxed so I was able to use it leisurely. Even on weekends, it is relaxed in the morning, and although it gets a little crowded after 2 o'clock, the kids were able to have fun. One thing is a bit disappointing about last week’s use. On Sundays, it opens at 2 o'clock and I visited the summit at that time. There were several groups having birthday parties that day, and there seemed to be about 3 or 4 birthday parties. Due to the children and parents attending the birthday party, there were not enough seats for general admission customers. The tables next to the birthday party table were full of gifts, luggage, and parents who came with them. So where should general admission customers sit? I think the problem occurred because the birthday parties were held all at once, so adjustments need to be made in this area. I've been here more than 5 times so far (including both weekdays and weekends), but this is the first time I've had an event like last Sunday."
"We have been members for 2 years and always been satisfied. We had one birthday for our 9 year old granddaughter and it was very pleasant. We have also attended many of her classmates birthday parties here and always had fun."
"My Children, ages 6 and 9, both love coming here! I would definitely recommend buying the monthly membership though which gives you 2hrs to visit every day for the entire month for the same price you'd actually pay if you only visited 2 times! I love that they're open 7 days a week until 9pm, it's always clean when we go (even see employees cleaning while we're there) and it's never been over crowded."
