"The guys at Allen repair are exceptional. I was stuck due to a flat tire on the highway near Moncks Corner, SC and the came out to replace my tire at 4am. Very genuine people and appreciated all their help. Thank you"
"If I could give zero stars I would. Allen and his friend Michael Fisher was selling a cattle trailer on market place. When in contact we asked if the trailer tires were good. We were told they weren't but they were fixing them with others. So we took their word and didn't bring ours. (four hour drive. Which they were aware of prior.) On the way down, close to a hour away from the location of the trailer, we were told that they had the tires ready to go and had test drove the trailer and was working on the lights. We got there at 6:56, there was no tires on the trailer and one of the guys was working on the lights. (This was the only part that wasn't a lie) While looking at the trailer Allen, Michael, and his friends began working on getting tires changed out. We sat there from 6:56 to little after midnight waiting on these guys! The trailer was already hooked to our truck while we waited as well. "Because our truck was a little higher than theirs" so they asked us to pull the trailer back to the side of the house. Every time we would ask how much longer it was "give us 10 minutes, gives us thirty" I sat in the truck while my spouse assisted with getting the old tires off the rims. Everyone seemed to be helping for the first hour. After that, all their "help" was everywhere. I watched multiple cars pull in the drive opposite from us, someone walk out there, then the car speed off. After midnight they finally got the trailer off the truck. (Still hadn't got the tires changed out) We were told that they would meet us half way the next day, but one of the guys said they would meet us at the state line instead since he can't leave state due to being on probation. Cool, fine. After getting almost a hour and a half down the road they message us telling us they would come meet right then if we would wait. It's 1:30 in the morning by this time! With work in just a few hours and everyone extremely exhausted. We told them that we couldn't just wait another hour and a half for them to "catch up to us." I mean, I had two children under five years old that needed to get home and in their beds! After stating this the "ad" on Facebook was changed to increasing the price because "tires were added." However, after this change we were still told they would be meeting us this afternoon. Time went by and nobody answered but read our messages. Hours later we were contacted and told "I have to pay my help and now have to meet so price went up" Moral of the story, don't trust these guys! They don't keep their word and they lie. Also, do your research. Search the name and business profile on Facebook. You'll learn that they cash checks multiple times, have charges for debit card fraud, have their employees sell things falsely advertised, and apparently sell cocaine. (Hmm, wonder if this is why all those cars kept showing up.) The only GOOD thing I can say is the spouses did offer drinks to my kids and us. Other than that, these guys are scammers! If they can do this, imagine what they do inside your home when fixing stuff or to your vehicle just to make a few extra bucks."
"Driving from VA to FL on 95 on Saturday to find my dashboard warning lights started blinking for check engine, brakes & a host of other ancillary (but related) faulty features. Since I didn't know what the core issue was, I didn't want to risk driving further and pulled over on the highway. Luckily, I found Allen's Repairs who helped troubleshoot over the phone to let me know if I needed to tow or if my car could safely be driven to their shop. We determined it wasn't a fatal brake issue, so I drove to the shop to have a look. My anti skid sensor snapped. He was quick, polite and efficient taking care of my car. I was back on the road in a couple hours for a very reasonable price. I am very grateful to have found Allen's Repairs!"
