"Customers beware of this shop!! They are crooks and the customer service is one of the worst I’ve seen in years. A month ago I decided to use auto tech because the shop I normally go to “Pendarvis Chevrolet” was fully booked for a few weeks, and my truck being my daily driver needed a front end rebuild due to wearing my tires out. Also the next week I was going on vacation for a week so I really wanted to get it done with no down time. I had already ordered all of the correct parts and reputable parts at that. “The exact same parts auto tech would have used if they were to order them.” So I stopped by one day and spoke with the manager Jennifer and she explained to me that they don’t normally work on customers vehicles that bring their own parts. Then I explained to her the brand of parts(moog parts) I had and she agreed to do the work, and that they could get it done while I was on my cruise the next week. She quoted me at 9.5 hours of labor including a steering shaft part that I had along with the front end parts which would have increased the labor to 11 hours. Five days into my cruise I had service on my phone so I decided to check in to see how everything was going and told Jennifer the manager to make note not to rotate the tires and do an alignment since I was getting new tires. Needless to say they did it anyway after I said not to. So after she told me everything was going good I told her I would just go ahead and give her my credit card number that way my brother could come pick my truck up for me and have it back to my house when I arrived home. When I returned home I get the bill to see they tacked on another 3 hours of labor because supposedly the mechanic ran into an issue removing the old parts. Not only did I get charged an extra 3 hours of labor, I noticed a creaking sound in the front end that wasn’t there before so I brought it by one day to see if they could check it out. I saw the mechanic in the parking lot and told him what was going on and he even went down the road with me to hear it. For some reason it wouldn’t duplicate the noise at the moment so I left and went home and said I’ll come back when it does it again. Noise got worse after that and turned into a clunking noise that felt pretty serious. So I brought it back and told Eric at the front desk what I was experiencing and he insisted that I had to schedule an appointment for next week to have it looked at. Keep in mind this did not sit well with me after I just spent almost $2000 with them to rebuild my front end and now my truck was making noises it didn’t have to begin with. Not to mention I feel that it could have been something serious that could have turned into an accident if a part was defective or mechanic error. At this point I ask Eric (since he refused to help me in any other way) if I could just speak to the mechanic that did the work. then he proceeds to tell me they aren’t allowed to pull the mechanics off of a job. I definitely don’t experience this type of service when I go to Pendarvis Chevrolet if I asked to speak to a mechanic, they would not have a problem with that especially with the issue that I was having. Eric totally refused to let me talk to him for just 5 minutes. So then he goes in the shop to get Jennifer the manager and she comes out with a serious attitude problem like I’m in the wrong for saying I need someone to check this issue out today. She then goes on to say “well you supplied the parts sir.” I said ma’am you wasn’t even going to touch it until I told you the parts that I was using so what are you saying? I said I can’t believe how you guys are so treating me and I said it was bs and then she proceeds to tell me to leave and that she was going to call the cops if I didn’t. At this point, I left and made an appointment with Pendarvis Chevrolet to have a look at it. Come to find out it fell on auto tech because they left the adjuster bolt finger tight on the control arm. All I asked for was what I paid for nothing more nothing less and this is the way I was treated."

"I’ve been taking my Infiniti to Auto Tech for a few years and they’re awesome. Great service and always reliable. Just be sure if you’re getting routine service that you book it a few weeks in advance bc they are always super busy. I think that’s to be expected if a mechanic shop is good quality. They will always be busy."
