"One star is frankly is even too much to give. I booked a trip through this agency, only because they were the agency of choice for the wedding that we were to attend in Mexico on June 2, 2023. Due to circumstances we had to cancel. When I first booked this trip I was never offered travel insurance, then when I had to cancel I was never told that I had a year from original booking of airline tickets to complete travel, when I was supposed to to get my refund for the hotel deposit I was told by Melody, the travel agent, that she did not know how to issue a refund through the credit card terminal and that she was going to issue me a check. I had contacted her several times and each time it was one excuse after another. Until I got my credit card company involved and viola! two weeks later a check was in the mail. It took almost three months for that process. We were in contact trying to get my refund from the airline, had she'd been honest and said absolutely not will American Airlines issue a refund I would have utilized the tickets earlier in the year but no. She led me to believe that if there was schedule change there might be a chance. I asked how long do we need to wait and she said a week before take off. I believed her, I thought she was the professional. Well the day of supposed take off I contacted her and was told nope too late, nothing she could do. Now keep in mind all along I was still not told I needed to complete travel by date of purchase one year later. This should have been told to me when I first cancelled in November of 2022. When asked she had no answer and was told that she needed to contact the airlines, this information should have been provided at time of booking. It took me two weeks of me chasing her down through text messages to finally get an answer. Okay, So my husband and I immediately said lets book something, we had to go through her. I couldn't have made this any easier , I gave her the dates the times, the flight and the hub and seats to fulfill the amount that we originally spent. What did Melody do? she booked us on Economy the last row #22 and added extra fees to come close to what we spent. When I brought this up, again there were all the excuses again. I had to chase her down once again to fix the tickets and her latest response was she couldn't do it on her end and needed to get on the phone, then she got disconnected, then called back and got disconnected. My husband finally called his cousin who is reputable, well known travel agent to help fix the mess that this incompetent, lying agent Melody created. Had we known that my husband's cousin was able to do this I would have bypassed Melody totally and saved myself the stress. Melody has given us such anguish, and stress over something that should have been simple. I made it fool proof, I gave her everything she need to complete the transaction and somehow she managed to mess it up. Planning a quick flight into Florida shouldn't be this difficult I DO NOT!! recommend this travel agent. Melody of Quentin Travel Services is incompetent, she lies and the excuses!!! Oh my."
