"As a South African that have been moving in shooting and hunting circles most of my life, I recently had the pleasure of having been invited to the prestigious Twane Safari’s Africa lodge for a hunt expedition with family and friends. I’m very excited to report back that this, in my view and experience, is the absolute pinnacle of what hunting in Africa have on offer and is all about. I was pleasantly surprised by the venue and friendly staff and the positive attitude they presented. Rhuan Barnard (goes by the handle of “Barries”) was our PH and if I can sum it up, I think that him and his staff’s motto goes something like: -Work for a cause, not for applause. I experienced a level of professionalism that I can honestly reflect, was in a different league. The staff was dependable, punctual, efficient and unfailingly willing to go out of their way to make sure that our hunting experience was something memorable. Hunting as a rule have some non-negotiables’; -one expects ethical hunting practices and behavior applied, enough game to afford one some option, bed, shower and a home-cooked meal. What we received, far exceeded this and therefore felt it relevant to share our experience, positive sentiment and gratitude to the owners and team of the Twane Safari’s Africa lodge. In my mind, part of the 1% world class African hunting venues with dedicated people that love and lookout for the well-being of their animals whilst going out of their way to entertain you and your personal hunting ideas.
