"Staff is very friendly. I was greeted with a cold bottle of water immediately as i pulled up. They were not overly pushy with up selling, but made proper recommendations for a few additional services that were needed as they showed me why. (Went for oil change, after recommendation had air filter replaced) I take both my cars to the Lexington sunset location and am well taken care of. I stay in my car and within a few minutes, all done!"
"Chris did an excellent job making sure I got my oil change that my VW needed. He also addressed the filters. I was good on the engine because they showed me at my last oil change that it was really dark gray because I always refuse the extras. I attached an old picture of the filt3r from last visit but this time it was okay and he was okay without me replacing it. The cabin filter was looked at this time and I definitely wanted that replaced but didn't know how to do it. Glad they brought that to my attention. I got my wiper blades replaced and he let me know about the 6 month warranty on them. I always go with a coupon as well. Great, quick, and friendly customer service! That's why I keep going back to them at the Lexington location."
"I had heard some good things about Take5 but I was disappointed with my visit. The tech who waited on me was very respectful and pleasant however, I just wanted the standard oil change and was told I could only get one that was almost 40 dollars more. I think it’s really sad when you as the consumer cannot decide what you want to pay for and having to be told what you have to purchase. I will never go to Take5 and will tell people I know not to go there. Update: got a quick and positive response, but I found another place to get my oil changed. It was refreshing to see Take5 wanted another opportunity to make things right."
"Awesome job with my truck. I'm a contractor and my truck acts as everything from and office to a pulling machine and they always take great care of it. This was the first oil change since I purchased it at 62000 miles and it looks like I should have looked harder at things because the air cleaner looked like it was dipped in mud and should have only had 10000 miles on it. Great job guys."
"7.06.23 - Awaiting a call from the district manager to address my issues. The shop never put oil back in my vehicle and my engine very likely has damage. They never filled my coolant or checked my tires as I thought they were supposed to. My tire had a nail in it, and now my check engine light is on. I will be expecting the shop to do right to take care of my expenses with another shop to check my engine and repair or replace any damages from their negligence and will update this review if things go to my expectations. Otherwise, there will be a lawsuit. I will put an edit on the review once my issue is resolved. Update: 07.07.23 - Contacted the shop again and they are working to resolve the issues. Customer service from The manager has been great thus far. Update - 7.11.23 - Take 5 sent me to a shop to have the Jeep checked. Metal shavings were found after draining a quart of oil and metallic color to the oil indicating damage to the engine. Still awaiting a call or response from the district manager. I have not received a refund from them, and fully expect them to replace the engine from the damage of running it with no oil. 7/20. Manager states that the DM wanted to change the oil again to see if they can remove the metal shavings from the oil. I have sent a response to the DM 10 days ago and still no word. At this point, I will be seeking to litigate. 8/3. No response from district manager at all. Manager claims district makes all the big decisions. I still have not even gotten as much as a refund for their negligence. 8/15. Still no response from district manager. Probably because I threatened a lawsuit? It’s already being drafted."
