The Edisto River Lodge is a unique retreat located on a small island surrounded by the Edisto River in Ridgeville, South Carolina. Just a short drive from Charleston and Summerville, this exclusive 3-acre campground offers a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. Perfect for family vacations, corporate retreats, weddings, or outdoor adventures with friends, the lodge is a one-of-a-kind destination.
Originally a hunt camp from the 1960s, the lodge has been expanded to include multiple living areas with accommodations for up to 8 guests. With activities such as kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding, fishing in the pond, and a cozy fire pit, there is plenty to do onsite. Guests can also take a guided river paddle with a local naturalist to explore the beauty of the Edisto River.
A three-night minimum stay includes access to kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, a boat launch, and a floating dock. The lodge features four separate living areas, two bathrooms, and an efficiency kitchen in the Suite. With a queen bed, twin trundle, and room for additional guests, the Edisto River Lodge is the perfect getaway for those looking to experience the wonders of the Edisto River with friends and family.
