Reviews of The UPS Store
"I came into the store with my package to be shipped with a prepaid sticker for two day delivery on January 2nd at 10:30am, I left the package and received a delivery receipt that shows when my package would arrive on January 4th at 5pm. Unbeknownst to myself until today my package has not arrived yet and it supposed to arrive today January 8th at 7pm. This is crazy that my package has not arrived for days later. Horrible just horrible service and no one notified me that it was not shipped. No one answered the phone when contacting them of the issue."
"Though the store was busy, I got almost immediate help in setting up copying. The emplyee was helpful and friendly. The b/w copying cost was kess than 5 other stores I called."
"Amazing experience! They were so helpful and took care of a situation where I needed stuff done for my job! Couldn’t have asked for better people or more amazing service!"
"I paid to mail a very important package from this location a month ago. Unfortunately, the address provided to me was for an old vital records address in Atlanta, and it was returned to sender (the UPS store) When I prepared to pay another $12-$13 to resend the package to the updated address, the rep asked me for my phone number. Frustrated, I responded “are you actually going to use it? I mean, if something happens to my package, are you going to use my phone number or will my package just sit on the back counter for weeks??” Realizing they had my phone number the ENTIRE time and never once took 45 seconds of their time to call, made me pretty upset. Then the lady who may have been the manager dryly said “that’s what your tracking number is for.” I’ve been in customer service for a looong time and let me tell you: That is the wrong answer. Exceptional service is about truly wanting to help the HUMAN on the other end of that transaction. Not about hiding behind the bare minimum you could technically get away with. Everyday you saw that package sit there, it never occurred to you that perhaps I didn’t realize it had been returned and that what was in there may have been important? While you shuffled that package around back there for weeks, I, a new GA resident was waiting for a birth certificate so I could get my GA drivers license. And I needed my GA drivers license to register to my car. And I need my car registered in GA because that’s where my insurance coverage is now, and Florida doesn’t take very kindly to cars registered in their state without FL insurance. So I have a very limited amount of time to complete this transition. THAT is what was in that envelope. Yes, a tracking number is given with the package. But I am also a new resident with a brand new apartment and believe me when I say boxes, bags, shoes and dishes are everywhere right now. I could have used an above and beyond service experience for sure, and it would have only taken you 2 minutes to do. Probably less. This costs more than the post office for the same services. I’ve gone to the UPS store for many years for things I could have paid less for at the USPS. I was so frustrated with this experience, I packed my documents up and went to the post office instead. No line. 1/4 the price. And friendly, efficient service. Great customer service is not a 1’s and 0’s operation. It’s about thinking outside the box and then doing for the other person what you would greatly appreciate someone doing for you. If that’s not your jam, there are lots of tech jobs that need bodies."
"This experience was an upgrade from the UPS on Columbia Rd: total opposite. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. The clerk was very efficient. There was no line. And the manager was at the door scanning folks in."
