Reviews of Los Dorados Cargo
"Los Dorados Cargo Colombian agency that is responsible for sending packages to our beautiful country Colombia. The reason that makes me write this information is that I still cannot get over my astonishment, when a box is going to be sent, the agency checks what is going to be sent, weighs the box, that is what makes the value, plus the taxes that must be paid. But to my surprise, when the value of the information has been paid in this country and our box arrives in Colombia, the DIAN, which is a Colombian customs agency, sends information to LOS DORADOS CARGO and they send this message by text; “The box was readjusted by DIAN in Colombia for a value of $71.30, please contact your Los Dorados agency to pay that value, (DIAN + LOS DORADOS CARGOS + THE CUSTOMER?). My question is, if I am in the USA, I go to the shipping agency to weigh the box, are all the procedures done, why should another country charge more for the shipping I am making? And the money supposedly the DIAN requires to be paid in this country in dollars. If the problem is in Colombia, it should be paid in Colombian pesos, what wrong is the agency doing by not showing sincerity with its own compatriots? If the value that the DIAN of another country requires is not paid, they would not deliver the box to the sender. Is it fair for this to happen? Is there clarity and honesty in these procedures? Who can we trust if they tell us a value and then we end up paying another value that a foreign country requires? Why doesn't the agency inform the client that in Colombia they are going to retain the cash and the DIAN is going to send a text demanding more money? If payment is not made in thirty days, what would happen to the effort one makes to send used things to our country so that a customs agency can hold them, would they return them? would it be lost? This situation has been happening for a long time."
"Very helpful lady thanks for staying extra late to help us"
"Great customer service, awesome people"
"At first everything was fine. It is understood that they have to know how to sell. But they are not serious, I sent a box and almost 3 months have passed. First and last time this happens to me. You know if you want to send something, send it 6 months in advance Hahaha."
"We have been clients for a long period with this company but we wanted to try this place and both of my experiences were not good, but not because of the company but because of one of the employees of this office, Mrs. Ludy Alvarez does not give complete information and due to her negligence I had to pay extra costs, apart from his lack of charisma because when I went to look for an explanation, he replied that there is nothing to explain here, just pay and that's it! Those were his words, I told him that I explained to him that they were second-hand clothes for Charity and he told me: Don't talk to me about Charity because lately I know that second-hand clothes are sold in Colombia; He practically called me a liar to my face. When I wanted to let her know that it was the second time that She gave me bad information; He laughed in my face. I hope this bad experience helps someone; so that they avoid sending with this person. I personally will not send boxes through this company again until they make some type of correction so that this does not happen again. Mrs. Ludy Alvarez lacks a lot of charisma to work in customer service."
