Reviews
"Great place to enjoy a community show."
"I performed at the JSH today and was reminded what a gem we have here in Columbia County. This 300 seat auditorium is located in the Columbia County Library building and is a great place to perform and to watch a wide variety of performances."
"Wonderful venue. Most of the staff extremely nice, polite, and helpful. The library director, for some unfathomable reason, is also the director of the auditorium. I have never, ever, encountered a more rude and unprofessional person in any venue across the United States."
"Lovely theater. I saw a variety show put on by The Border Chicks. The show wasTime Warp and it was a benefit for the Wounded Warrior Project. Ms. Terri Gibbs was one of the performers and spoke to the audience with an encouraging message between songs and piano. Ms. Saundra Powell Willis performed and hosted the event. Plenty of parking. Good security. The theater is actually INSIDE the library. Good handicapped access for the front row. Equipped with all the bells and whistles needed for a variety of performers. Loved the clean, family friendly atmosphere and acts. Great price on tickets and CDs of artists were available for sale in the lobby area."
"I understand that we live Georgia and I do appreciate that it's cooler indoors than out. But it was bloody freezing during the concert. You can't please everyone but the electric company suggests to set your thermostat on 78 to #1 conserve energy, #2 it should be generally comfortable. We could have enjoyed the concert more if it weren't so darn cold in the auditorium."
