"All I can say is WOW about Tampa Bay Jays. I am a retired Army Combat Veteran and I will give it you straight. Bottom line up front, Tampa Bay Jays is an A+ business. He is knowledgeable, personable, expeditious and economical. That’s a tough combination to find these days. I live in Augusta, GA and did my research on my seadoo with a “seized engine” and everything led me to drive 3 hours away to Tampa Bay Jays. From the first time I called Jay, I could tell he truly cares about his customers. As soon as I arrived with my seadoo he and his two assistants immediately stopped what they were doing, introduced themselves, asked me some triage questions and immediately got under my ski while it was still connected to my SUV and tried to fix it on the spot. This is the type of service you get from Jay and his team. You can tell from his stories and pride from the many skis that he has resurrected from the dead, pulling engines, upgrading turbos, and adding crazy stuff like Nitrous, that they have a true passion for this stuff. Because Jay owns his own business, there is no corporate overhead. What does that mean? He is not loyal to the big box companies that force sales and profits. He doesn’t rip you off. Jay is true to his reputation and only charged me for the Busted Jet pump and some labor, nothing more. Since he had my ski apart he saved me $$ on extra services I wanted done…full service, oil change, spark plugs, metal ring, upgrade the prop. His prices beat anything in Augusta by far. Not only did they repair the same week and have it ready that Friday, they go above and beyond saving the damaged pump and showed it to me when I arrived. They even went one step further to show me the error codes from the computer that they fixed for free. If you are in need of some Jet Ski service, do not waste your time with long wait times, questionable service and high prices….Stick with Jay and his team and you will not be disappointed.
