"I went in to see if they could polish one of my watches and inquire about purchasing a new watch. I introduced myself and told the owner my name and put my hand out to shake his. He never answered me and didn't want to shake my hand. I thought maybe he didn't hear me so I said hello my name is a lot louder and put my hand out to shake his. Again he never answered me or put his hand out. I have never had a business be so rude to not even greet a customer with a simple hello. Seems really shady and completely disrespectful. I walked out. I just moved here from Middle Village and was looking for a new jeweler. This place somehow has a lot of good reviews online. They must all be posted by family members. This was by far the most bizarre out right rude shopping experience I have ever had."

"My boyfriend and I went into this store last weekend after searching "Italian Jewelers near me," as I had an Italian gold necklace with a clasp that had worn away. I have had this necklace since I was a baby and I've been wearing it almost every day since I was a child. I have had to get it repaired once before, in the distant past, but lost the contact for where it was previously taken for repair. Well, I sure am lucky that I walked into ORO Puro 2! I handed over my necklace, initially putting the charms away, but Teddy made sure that I handed over the charms, so that they could get shined, as well. I'm happy we accepted the cappuccinos that we were offered while waiting, as they were DELICIOUS! I was not waiting long, as my jewelry was repaired within a few minutes, before the cappuccinos were ready. I was assisted with putting my necklace on, and continued to chat and enjoy my warm beverage, when after a few moments, I signaled that I was ready to pay for my repair. Everyone in the shop looked at me as if they were SURPRISED that I had been waiting to pay. They laughed warmly and informed me that the necklace repair was free of charge. I walked out with my necklace on, shining like it was brand new! What a blessing! I'll definitely be making another visit to this shop in the near future! Thank you for the warmth and hospitality!
