Reviews of JandJTours
"I had the pleasure to travel with J and J Tours this past weekend along with my brother and brother-in law to watch the Bill's and Ravens game in Buffalo. We all agreed we will definitely be back! These folks are true professionals! Arrival and departure time were as promised. The tail gate had plenty of food and beer and soda and food was coming off the grill within 15 minutes of our arrival in Buffalo. Great job guys! To our surprise there was another tail gate at the end of the game while waiting for traffic to clear. Needless to say we were all very pleased with the reasonable cost of this trip. Thank you JandJ!! Special thanks to Brian at J and J for providing all the details with my multiple phone calls."
"I was among the group of people taking a bus trip to Yankee Stadium 7/13/2019. I have taken trips with J&J in the past and have not experienced issues. This trip was the exception. Our driver Daryl was excellent. Very customer service oriented. He deserves 5+ stars! Our escort Kate was an issue with many of the people traveling, starting off with her being late for the start of the trip stating that her alarm did not go off. Obviously, this can happen but there are ways to prevent this especially when you are partly responsible for the on-time departure. It would have been nice when she boarded the bus, to use the microphone and greet everyone, introduce herself, apologize for the delay, answer any questions and review the itinerary for the trip. None of this happened. I was near where she was sitting to hear her speak of her alarm. The ride down was fine other than the blaring volume of the movie that was playing. As passengers, we did not ask to have it turned down but in the future, we will. Kate said we should have said something—no Kate, you should have asked. Quite a few people complained when she asked how we liked the movie. I read in another review that other trips had the same issues. We stopped for about a 45 min break to use facilities, buy food if we wanted and stretch our legs. Arrived at Yankee Stadium and were on our own until we arrived back at the bus, after the game, to head home —- which is customary for this trip. About 2 hrs from Syracuse, Daryl stopped at a rest area 9:00pm (bless him) and woke up Kate to ask what we were doing - driving on home or stopping for dinner??? Can’t believe that Kate did not survey the group, when leaving Yankee Stadium, to ask this question! This was the FIRST time stopping for dinner was mentioned. Most everyone on the bus said let’s go home as we were hot from the weather and hotter on the bus since the a/c was blowing little if any cool air. People in the back of the bus were exhausted from the heat. I realize that I have rambled on but these issues need to be addressed. I will travel with J&J again, as I am hoping that this trip was an isolated incident.l"
"Had a lot of fun on the Yankees bus trip to NYC. The motorcoach was nice and included and bathroom, power outlets and TVs for watching movies. The driver Daryl was awesome. He was really nice and a good driver. After the game we came back to the bus where we there was complimentary soda and water. Daryl stayed with the bus so we were able to leave our backpack on board. 4/5 stars because we stopped for breakfast AND dinner at McDonald's after driving by a Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. Was also a little annoyed that there were movies playing LOUD non stop there and back. 10pm after being up since 4am I wanted quiet and I could tell the other guests did too. Could have been a little bit better organized; itinerary said arrival at 5am check in at 530am... didn't even check in and board until 6. Would recommend this group for anyone looking to take a bus trip."
