"Look, this is one of those places where you go solely to dance. There are drinks, hookah, beer buckets etc. for libations but temper your expectations. Starting with entry, you can expect a full pat down. Gentleman, don't even bother looking for guestlists to this place. You're all paying a $20.oo cover. It looks like they let pretty much any ladies in. When you walk in you will get absolutely smacked by loudness of the sound system. It's essentially too loud to talk in there but again, you come to this place to dance, not talk. You can get bottle service with fancy sparklers or you can get basic beer buckets. Hookah is also available. This will all be brought to you by a young woman who turned 21 yesterday. Now that you've got a few drinks in you, get ready for a pretty good "Musica Urbana" set. You'll hear mostly Reggaeton, Dembow a little late model Hip Hop and rarely some Dancehall tunes. I was hoping to hear some salsa on my last visit but was disappointed to hear mostly Bachata heavy interludes. As for the crowd, it's going to be young, really young (too young?). Dress code? Hah! What dress code? Get comfortable in the Air Force Ones, Crocs, Flip Flops and Huaraches. It's like the Bronx took a party bus to Long Island lol. By the way, I stand at like 6'4. I'm pretty sure I was the tallest person in there (just a random observation). Bottom line: You just go to Area 516 to dance to Musica Urbana/Latin Heavy Beats. Dress comfortably in something you don't mind sweating in. Grab a quick drink and then get to sexy dancing!"
"My brothers booked an event at this venue, and the owner decides to call them today & try to pin a very racial profile on the police stating that the police “ didn’t want two black men having an event in his club”. How can the police tell you who to have in your venue? But I rest my case and wouldn’t prescribe using this venue if your black or know black people."
"I went down to Syosset to visit some old schoolmates from years ago, a couple of years ago, and they took me to this place. Even though it was a younger crowd, I did not mind for it reminded me of the intense fun I had in Syosset on the weekends when I was young. Everyone was a musician in my neigborhood. Started playing music down there at an early age."
"Avoid at all costs! This place hosted an after party stating that Tory Lanes would be showing up after his concert in NYC. They sold $20 to $40 tickets and expensive bottle service. As the night went on the DJ and club kept saying he is on his way, he is 30 mins away, he is 20 mins away etc. They even set up a table and booth with liquor as if he was going to come. They gave this same lie for the rest of the night. Once 330 AM hit, they finally said Tory Lanes had something come up and wont make it. This was more than a cash grab by this club to make money. They sold expensive drinks letting you believe he would come, just to say he wouldn't. Very disappointing for all his fans."
