"This will be the second and last time that I have issues getting my debit card renewal. My debit card expires in December, literally the worst month for the post office. This is the second time that my new card has been lost in the mail. Each time this has happened, they block my current card before it expires, messing up everything. All my auto payments are halted because they claim someone could have gotten my new card and used it, even though it's not activated, nor would that person have any of my information. So basically, their activation means nothing, but they say it does. Although they block all my legitimate use on my unexpired card, claiming someone could use my unactivated new card without a PIN or again, any of my personal information. I have closed all my accounts with them and will be taking my business elsewhere."

"I made the switch 20+ years ago when it was limited to Kodak employees and direct relatives. It is the best financial move I've ever made. They have added so many services and technology as well as drive thru only and branches around the entire Rochester area. Support is excellent, parking is never a problem, they have their own app, financial planning, loans and mortgages and I believe they do businesses now too."

"Shuts down debit card when ever you want more then 150 dollars! So embarrassing when your standing in line trying to but your card thru several times only for it to keep declining. Even the retailers say this is common for this bank . Have several friends and family members this has happened too."

"Went to this ESL to try & set up a new bank account, this was my first time in a bank by myself. I stood in the near the screen where you check in for around 5 minutes waiting for someone to speak to me seeing as only one employee was helping a customer & 5 were doing nothing I figured someone would talk to me but instead a few went on their phones and just stared at me continuing to talk to their coworkers. completely unprofessional & I will not be banking with ESL because of this. I am not typically one to complain but this was very unprofessional."

I thought I was going to be there for an hour, she was able to cash the bonds in and get me out of the bank in less than 15 minutes.
