"I had a terrible experience at this salon. After describing very well what I wanted done with my hair over the phone making the appointment and again when I arrived for the services, my stylist did the exact opposite. Awful chunky highlights and a blunt cut with no layers or bangs like I asked. She said it was because I had purchased the Groupon, so she wasn't able to do my hair the way I wanted with that. Why she didn't inform me when I made the appointment, or told me I needed to pay more for what I wanted, I don't know. After barely cutting my hair the way I wanted, I had to ask her to stop, that the color needed to be fixed. I looked awful. She had to have another coworker fix my hair, who was very nice and explained everything that my stylist had done wrong. When she was done covering up the mistake, she had to practically force my stylist to finish up my hair. Then, I had to practically beg her to put some layers in my hair, which she did very pathetically. She was trying to rush me out to not have to deal with the mistake she created. The coworker was able to mask the problem, but I left with my hair not looking how I wanted it to at all. After a few weeks, the cover up color faded and the chunky, terrible highlights were back with a vengeance. It was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've had at a salon and they still charged me for the services too. I was so mortified at how bad things had gone, I wasn't up to argue. Long story short, I just spent 160$ fixing my hair to look like it should at a different salon after having gone to New Era."
