"They are racist they charged my friend 85 dollars for her nails but charged my other friend 55 dollars for the same design and length"
"My daughters and I have been going to Trish for maybe 3 years now. I went to Florida for 8 months and when I came to New York I was still loyal to her and went back to her for my gel pedicure and powder manicure. I love how she did my pedicure because she really knows what to do. She is amazing but about 1 month ago went in as my routine and I noticed her very moody and nasty with some customers. I noticed something was wrong with her when she ask another nail technician to do my nails. I was really desperate because I was attending a baby shower the next day so I accepted. I was not happy with the service. I came back today and she acted the same way with me so I walked out. She has a personally matter going on and it's not a good way for having a business and taking it out on customers. As much as I loved her service I will never come back again. I'd rather spend my money where I treated right."
"Came in @ 10 am only 2 people in salon. Waited for 30 mins before they started on my pedicure, nail tech did a terrible job, cut toes on 1 foot and left the other foot uncut. Finally had them change nail techs finally finished my toes @ 12:10. Now instead of the nail tech taking me next she made me wait for 15 more mins to have nails done. Bad customer service"
"I’ve been looking for a place to replace my last spot, which had recently been falling off in quality. I usually travel all the way to the Pelham Bay or Morris park area from Gun hill. I don’t mind traveling for quality work . That being said, I was feeling lazy and decided to walk around my area to see if I can find a nice, CLEAN place that offered the services I need, with a PERSONABLE staff. I usually do SNS manicures and spa pedicures. I find that salons that offer SNS don’t typically have that intoxicatingly strong smell of chemicals. Three salons later, I walked into TT’s. They offered the SNS service though I ended up opting for a gel manicure and pedicure instead, quite frankly to save a few bucks, though I would say for the quality of work , all of the services are reasonably priced. I’m not a difficult customer but I am definitely meticulous. Mariana did my pedicure. I got a regular gel pedicure and considering I hadn’t gotten a spa pedicure I would say it was amazing. I still got a callous softener gel included and my feet were left super soft. She did a great job applying the polish. It was nice and neat and she sealed the end of the nails with polish, which I love! I feel like it’s a small detail that a lot of nail techs overlook . It really does add long gevity to your paint job. Aside from the quality of work , she also is just a really sweet person. We chatted and laughed it up together while I was getting my pedicure. I was also put to soak off my old SNS full set I had while getting my pedicure, so when I was done I was ready immediately to get my manicure. Gatsby did my gel manicure. He was a super pleasant guy who also does an amazing job. While I was getting a pretty basic service he still took his time and was super detail oriented. He asked me questions about my preferences about my nails before doing things, which I really appreciated. I went on a Tuesday, and they were the only two working in there. I prefer to go to the salon during the week, early, to avoid the weekend rush. They did seem to get a consistent mix of foot traffic and appointments even on a slower day. Gatsby gave accurate wait times for people who walked in and no one minded the wait, which is always a good sign to me. The salon itself is small, but chic and clean. I found my new spot and I’m so grateful that it’s so close to home. Thank you Gatsby and Mariana ! (But we all know, the greatest thank you you can give to your nail tech is A TIP! And if you don’t know, now you know -biggie voice-)"
