"I have had the unfortunate luck of scraping underneath my car, when I drove over what seemed like debri from a house renovation left on the street where I parked after it got dark. I was terrified of the internal damage, as my dealership pointed out that bolts were scraped clean off and the metal coverings under my car were dented all along my passenger side of my SUV. That being said, my car is brand new (less than 6 months) and this was my first incident of damage. Needless to say I was panicked and worried about what to do, how much it will cost, and how long it will take?! I was lucky to have been referred to A&R and despite them being located a bit further than I would have liked, I took the chance because I admired the quality of the work I saw them do via their instagram. The owner answered me right away when I called multiple times to make my inquiry. I can honestly say that I may have been annoying, but he was patient and understanding of my panic and kindly addressed all of my questions before I took my car into the shop. I was relieved to have had their help with arranging a rental given I was alone and honestly had no clue what to do. I did multiple check-ins and I always got a response and updates. This gave me peace of mind and great satisfaction that my car was in good hands. I was more than happy to get my car back in approximately 3-4 weeks and not have to worry about hidden leaks or worse when driving. They provided me with pictures of their assessments and everything was taken care of with no issues through my insurance. I could not be more grateful! As a female, I was glad to be heard and taken care of without struggling or being taken advantage of given the circumstances. They offered options of even dropping my car off, as I lived in the next borough over. As previously stated, there was always open communication. I was happy to get my car back and it looked and felt like nothing ever happened!"

"Idk what everyone else with negative reviews was talking about because I always took my car to this shop even for the little damages that happen from time to time. They work well with many insurance companies. Turn around time is not bad, definitely manageable and I appreciate them for always having 24 hr towing services if you ever need to get your car to their shop in a hurry. Ex: my wheels were stolen off my vehicle along with other damages that occurred during that incident. I called them and they got me connect with a towing company who was able to come with spare wheels and was able to get my car to their shop within hrs. I never had a bad experience there, definitely recommend if you’re ever in a jam and need to get your car looking brand new again."

"I never really write reviews but there are too many auto shops that will screw people over in the Bronx and A&R is the total opposite, I will never take my car anywhere else. From the time I took my car in they were super attentive and answered all my questions. (Unlike other shops that completely ignore you while you wait to be helped) They made the entire process easy. The owner is always available, even on off hours to answer any questions I had. Kept me informed with updates, insurance information and how long it would all take. My car came back to me absolutely flawless and in the exact amount of time I was told. Hands down the BEST auto body shop in the Bronx."

"Stopped by here last week because I couldn’t get my driver-side car door opened. One of the guys at the shop came over and spent some time helping me get it open, then told me how I could go about fixing it (for cheap) and sent me on my way, no charge. It’s kinda rare to find this nowadays, there’s usually always a sales pitch and a big price tag. These guys seem trustworthy and I really appreciate that."
