"I do not recommend this service. I brought my laptop in for a malware scan and some of my data was lost in the process. I hadn’t turned on sync for Google chrome in order to be able to recover the data after, and so data for one of the Google users was completely erased. I wasn’t informed that this would occur prior to handing over my laptop, or I would have made sure to back up all of my data, even on chrome. If I had known that there was the slightest risk I wish I would have been told so that I could make an informed decision before they wiped the search engine, which had a lot of important information. Either way, I should have been warned and they should not have proceeded without my consent. Thankfully my most important documents were all backed up on Google. I never dreamed that this would happen at the hands of professionals but I’ll be much more cautious next time."

"Google told me the Geek Squad and Best Buy (They are the same store) repair DVD/VCR machines. PLEASE REMIVE THIS FALSE INFO, as they do not repair the combo machine or a dvd machine or a VHS machine. I will no longer trust your suggestions!!"
"I have never had such a bad experience and do not plan on ever buying from Best Buy again. Twice we have scheduled a Geek to come to program our remote and Hub to control our very expensive 75" Sony 4K TV, 4K DVD player, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, and Bose sound bar. It has taken us over a month to get these appts. Both times we told them they needed to bring a laptop to program these. Both times they did not. We were charged ahead of time and the first time it took 5 calls and over two hours to get our money back. This second time we cannot find anyone to refund our money. The Geek, Pedro, said he would be back today between 11 and 1 with a computer to do the job. Of course he didn't show up. Now the only way to get our refund is to have Amex not pay the charge. I have bought thousands of dollars of equipment from Best Buy, but will never use them again. A most unpleasant and time consuming experience. We are stuck with all of this equipment with no remote. I suspect that no one at the Geek Squad will read this so I expect no response."
"Like any other best buy store. But there are plenty of employees available. In many stores in manhattan, mostly populated areas they are always busy helping other customer, customers that instead doing some research on the internet, prefer to go to the store in person to ask the one and a million questions. downstair's check out looks a little messy. The most awesome thing about it is the close it is to the train station :) train is in the opposite corner."
