Nails on 1st

"I absolutely love this place. I used to go to wherever was convenient at the time, But now I only go here. The staff is friendly and does a great job. I have been going here now for about ten years. I will not go anywhere else....."

"Started coming here when I moved to NYC & will not be returning. About a week ago, I got a pedicure and mani, and it was the most painful experience ever. The young girl soaked my gels off in acetone > 1 hour (I ended up taking the foil off myself). During the pedicure, on three different instances I asked her to stop three times out of pain, and she giggled. After being at the salon >2 hours, I decided to just get a manicure instead of gels to get out of there. My nails are paper thin, still painful to touch & have all cracked. Pretty disappointed, because I really like the owner Viv. Anyways, save yourself the pain & ruined nails, go elsewhere."

"Upon entering, all the staff members are approachable and friendly. The first time I went there, I showed a photo of the design I wanted and without fail, Vivian performed with excellence. I’ve had Michelle do my nails as well and she’s thorough. Cyndi’s very lovely and if I have an issue with my nails, she adjusts and solves it immediately. I’ve had back massages too and they listen to what you want. I recommend booking an appointment as it gets busy. Keep up the good work, ladies! Thank you for making me feel better after a day’s work."

"Worst experience I’ve ever had. I was sat down at 5:45pm to have gels done - at 6:45pm the lady still couldn’t get my polish off. My manicure ended at 7:25pm. They tried telling me it’s because gels take longer to come off (I’ve been getting gels for over 10 years, at most it takes 20 minutes). I can’t believe I stuck it out. I wish I knew her name she was HORRIBLE - believe it was front desk lady. They failed to compensate me in someway for receiving TERRIBLE service. I will never go back here, do not suggest ever going here either."

"Worst nail job ever!! Went for a powder mani and was left with nails that are at different lengths, filed unevenly, and have hangnails. The powder does not cover the entire nail, is way too thick and wavy/uneven and looks as if it’s already growing out. My skin was covered in a thick layer of glue as well that they tried to remove. A different tech then refiled my nails, but also filed off the topcoat and did not reapply. My nails look like they were done by 3 year old. Never again!!!"
