"Believe all of these negative reviews. Too bad there is not a way to give the Solomon Organization zero stars. We lived at Blue Spruce for about four years (only because it was very close to my job) and this place is extraordinarily bad. They could not care less about the residents in the complex; the only thing that matters is collecting the rent. Maintenance is virtually non-existent, the place is disgustingly dirty, and the "leasing staff" are some of the most incompetent people that we have ever encountered. We used to have work orders for maintenance pending for over ONE YEAR, and we would routinely contact the leasing office about the delays, while they did nothing to rectify the situation and were extremely rude. I cannot recall a single resident whom we spoke to while we were living there have something positive to say about their own experience regarding this place. Our new apartment community is so much better, and we are very happy to have departed from that disaster."

"Probably the worst apartment place I have moved into. My floors were cracking and very uneven, very disruptive neighbors that when called on nothing was done about. Then when it comes time to move out they will mess with you’re final move out “expenses” so you do not receive you’re full security check back. I have tried to contact them for the past month and have yet to get a response. My apartment had no carpeting what so ever and I was charged $150 for a carpet clean. Just don’t move here at all it is very poor run and not a luxury apartment at all. All they want is to make you pay for sub par housing and give you nothing to be satisfied about. Oh and my washer and dryer in unit was garbage it would take 2+ hours just to dry a small load of laundry, I tried to get it fixed but they never came to take a look. I also woke up without hot water 3 different times in my year of residency and to top it off whenever the heat was working it sounded like the hot water tank was a giant rock tumbler super load and would wake me up throughout the night, honestly thought it was going to explode multiple times, but was told “that is normal”. Compared to my other apartment in Rensselaer this place is trash. Save yourself and look elsewhere this place sucks and keeps all your money for no reason!!"

"Last year and this year, the cooling system in our house does not work. Even though we call every day, no one helps to solve this problem. My children in my house are constantly getting sick because they sweat while sleeping at night and wake up very often. We pay our rent on time every month, but we don't get good service in return. We pray that nothing will break in our house. Because when something breaks, it is not possible to do it."

"If I could possibly give a negative star rating this would be the time. This has been the most horrible, and inconsiderate place and management I have ever seen. I haven’t had central air conditioner in two years, and only one maintenance request tended to in two years. Ceiling foundation is cracking, ac doesn’t work, paneling on door ways have gap , and the inside hall has been patched up and not painted for two years. We have had 3 property managers in that time. To be more detailed I was told by the 6,2 200 pound Stud of a woman who works in the office that no one was in charge and that it was nothing she can do because she’s not management ( so why are you there?) but besides the point. Endless work orders are being deleted… and whether they know it or not everyone receives an email confirmation of your work order…. ( I screenshot mine for extra proof) to save yourself an headache make this place your last result!!!!!!!"

"I moved in June 1st. My AC is not working. I was told there was a long list of maintenance services that had to be caught up on and that I would be put onto a list. The AC company did come into the apartment a couple of weeks ago. All they did for me was put back the thermostat on the wall, but did not fix my AC problem. They left no note, and although I tired to follow up with the office as to what they actually found about my AC, my calls have not been returned, and my questions have not been answered. I also informed the office that my refidgerator is leaking and I need to put a towel down in the bottom of the unit to absorb the water. I need to change it daily to avoid a huge water mess. The maintenance crew came out to look at it and acknowledged the problem and said they were going to replace the refrigerator, but they never followed up. My toilet is running and wasting water. I also complained about that problem and as to this date, nothing has been looked at our fixed. I do like this apartment and the location, my only wish is to have a much better maintenance crew"
