Reviews of Block75
"Kasia, the leasing manager, is incredibly nice and consistently goes above and beyond to be helpful. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to assist make the leasing process a pleasant experience."
"5 Stars. The apartments a 10 but has campus views too!! Edit: unresponsive Maintenance during fire alarm left people stranded outside for hours waiting for alarm to stop at 2am. The fact that you have to call a call center that is extremely unhelpful in any situation is something that should be stopped. It is impossible to get a hold of someone who actually works here."
"Block75 is really one of the best establishments in Albany. I love to live here. Nothing compares to the comfort I feel while living in this place. It feels like a home away from home. Shoutout Kasia for everything she does. She’s so helpful and thoughtful."
"I'd give it a 0 star if I could. So common to see trails of garbage stain on the floor, elevator broken most of the year, no water for almost a week (no way to cook, wash dishes, take a shower, or flush down the sht). Rather than finding a temporary living accommodation for us, b75 only refunded 7 days of rent while we all lived in filth. The management is calculative, minimizes costs and maximize profits. The phone number is useless, no one onsite would pick up. After moving out 3 months later, I received a $185 charge on my account that does not detail what the charge is about. Cannot reach b75 by phone or email (im overseas), leaving me stranded. The 5-star reviews are ALL paid-to-write; b75 have a system in which u get points for writing good reviews and u can redeem those points for gift cards. HENCE DO NOT TRUST THE 5-STAR REVIEWS. The place is dirty, floor filled with scratch marks and human/animal hair, when I moved in (even tho they supposedly "cleaned" it). The foul smell of the new paint takes months to dissipate (I asked them not to paint it when I was moving to a new unit, they said it is mandatory). The sound isolation is terrible, my alarm every morning was the increasing sound of highway traffic. Also, you be lucky to find considerate roommates, the ones I've had either smoked weed profusely even after I reminded them multiple times that the central AC carries the smoke & smell to each room (I complained so many times but rather than handling it themselves, b75 literally told me to call the cops) or played music so loud that can be heard through the concrete walls. U think that's it? You're wrong. Covered parking is nice, but somehow b75 found a way to make it the worst experience possible. The garbage dump is literally in the garage, piles of garbage accumulating on one parking spot. In winter, the icicles formed on the ceiling were literally yellow, like disgusting yellow. The ice on the ground were yellow too. That's when I found out that the usual puddles of "water" are either human feces or waste water. No designated parking spot is fine, but spaces are very constrained during school year. hehe Just don't live here."
"Where do I even start. If you want to be scammed and live in dump, Block 75 is the place for you. My apartment was filthy upon moving in, and when I asked them to clean it, they said they did, but the dog food and hair all over the floor would say otherwise. They forced me to pay for this cleaning fee, and later made me pay for fake damages, and would not respond to emails or calls when I tried to talk to them about it. Management could not have been more unhelpful. Constantly complaining when anything is asked of them. And the area is not good—you’re next to a busy road, a highway, and a gas station."
