"A family member was supposed to move into a unit at Manor Park, relocating from out of state. We had put a deposit down, passed a credit/financial check, and had an appointment to pick up the key and move in on July 2. The building manager had met us in person, during a visit from out of state, to show the building to us. My family member gave notice at the apartment he was living in, hired movers and a van that moved him out of his apartment at end of June. The moving van full of furniture and belongings was on its way, scheduled to arrive on July 2. On July 1, we received a phone call telling us we would not be able to get a key on July 2, the lease was cancelled, with no explanation. When we explained that we had moved out of our current apartment and the moving van was on its way with nowhere to go, we were told it didn't matter. The owners of this building are unethical, and very lucky we aren't taking them to court."

"Reviews can be edited or fabricated. I, like you, was thrown out also. I never lived in a fifty-five & over facility before, and most likely never will again. I was ecstatic when l saw my apartment. My new downstairs neighbor even opened the door to speak to me, but what looked so promising was not, and the happiness that I felt, was short lived. I don't recall how, but when I heard that a man who lived in my now beautiful apartment left to inhabit another apartment, I couldn't understand why? A lease was signed, and after everything was complete : I was Home! (1)"

"Manor Park Apartments is a great place to live.I lived there for 14 years.People are great Management fantastic.Very clean place to live. Grounds are beautiful.Can't say enough about this complex"

"These 55 and okder places will kick a family memeber out who has been living there with their older.family memeber once they pass on or go into a Nursing or living facility. I would not advise anyone younger moving in one of theae with family. I did with my Mother years ago. I was kicked out once she went into the nursing home."
