Reviews of Savoy Park Apartments
"Remember when Woolworth used to be here? Quintessentially the most phenomenal complexes in Harlem which has the juxtaposition of others; (Esplanade/Riverton) who's focus on the Mitchell-Lama template allows for minority individuals to be included in the co-op community rendition. Gentrified allocations are pre-morally personified by the idea that this concept has originated from the presence of a new generation of individuals but not necessarily from the engagements of the community itself requesting inclusion in the same form of digress seen throughout Manhattan island. Equally the opportunity is conformed with considerable consent which impures the decanted culture being enriched as opposed to displacing or erratically deprived. Savoy Park holds the helms of historical significance in the present state of Harlems reprise"
"I live here. I have never been so disappointed in a management company as I am in ours. Promises promises promises. When are they realized? Well I've lived here now 5 months and not one of the things I've either requested be done in my apartment or suggested a fix in a common area has been done. MOST importantly the fact that I can barely shower because the water pressure is so abysmal. Further, the maintenance staff talks to me (and others) as if I am 5 years old and have no idea how to live an adult life. I have a master's degree in management and a background in civil engineering, I could probably run this complex better on my own. Come on Fairstead...time to start being a management company, not just managing to be a company."
"Like so bad. Lived there for 5, almost 6 years. Tried to recant my lease renewal 30 days after it was signed and they wouldn’t let me out. Building 15 often would lose hot water or heat issues. Package theft, broken doors, broken package room entrances, fire in laundry room, homeless people crashing in the stairwells or behind the laundry machines, urination in the stairwells. I could go on and on. I live down the block now but belong to community groups for the residence on Facebook and it’s only gotten worse since I’ve moved out."
"For your own safety, do not rent here. Found mold in my air conditioner and tried to contact maintenance to have it removed: 1. The phone number for maintenance has not been working for 6 MONTHS. Requests made via the website are ignored. To have a shot at having essential repairs done, you need to go in person to the office (very difficult if you work a traditional 9-5), where you will always find other upset neighbors in the same situation as you. 2. Lucky enough to speak with the clearly uncaring and disinterested woman at the desk, who will try and shift blame on to anybody but herself? You might think you've scheduled an appointment - think again. You're lucky if maintenance turns up the week you requested. And heaven forbid you need a follow up, since your request is as good as thrown in the trash. Savoy Park/Fairstead is garbage and if it weren't for the exorbitant rent prices in NYC (which they contribute to), I'd be somewhere better in a heartbeat. Save your time and mental health - rent anywhere but here."
"This is an awful apart, roaches, and poor staff when it comes to handling bad neighbors. But the most important thing is that items are beign stolen frequently from the package room. My duaghter, who is 12, got her package stolen from her 30 moinute sot it being dropped off. She didnt even have to to get it before it got stolen. They havent dealt with the situation in any way. Doesnt put up cameras, doesnt look for the person(s), or kick them out of the apartment. Its truly fustrating that I my child and myself have to deal with that. :C"
