Fairfield Metro at Glen Cove North

"We haven’t moved in yet, but Dylan Pagan, the new leasing representative, has been absolutely wonderful to work with. He’s been responsive and helpful during work hours, after hours, and even on his day off. He has a kind disposition and I have enjoyed getting to know him as he has supported our leasing efforts every step of the way. If the rest of the Fairfield team follows suit, I do believe this will be a wonderful new place to call home. Thank you Dylan!!"

"If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been waiting on a door for my washer and dryer since Dec 15. I was sent emails and messages that the door was on back order. It’s not almost March and no door. I have told tjem that I have a tiny dog and he will get stuck on side of washer and dryer where the openings are. I’m worried while I am at work he will get stuck and strangle himself. So I have been paying for doggy daycare since December!!!!! The concierge desk is a joke. This place is an abomination. I am writing this message today for all of the lookiia com to into. DO NOT MOVE in here. Not the money. Update on this disaster!!!! We are now at March 31. Still No door!!!! Linda Barnes and shahin Hoosain the two woman that work at the concierge desk in north building are non caring. I have called crying from aggravation all over a door!!! . They have made several comments to me. all I want is my door out back on. They are so mean when I call them. I reached out to Marilyn from billing and she was so kind and she heard me out. For the first time in 4 months I felt listened to I felt heard. Aside from all of this all of the burners on my stove are lop sided. My pots tilt while I cook. They come in to fix but it’s a fast fix with some other part from another apartment. I am paying 3100 for a one bedroom. The apartments are so out dated and the burners on the stove I am terrified to use.."

"Same hard to contact management nickel and diming us on maintenance like a light bulb ever since Fairfield took over our rent has changed several times and we have a 1 year lease we moved in 2 months prior to Fairfield acquiring Avalon believing we would have the same common courtesy and services Avalon provided. I wish I could give 0 stars this place needs to change. We understand transitional changes and have given fairfield the benefit of the doubt but literally the physical so-called managers they left here on site are quick to direct us to automative phone service that don’t respond back this is ridiculous. They are quick to change prices and slow to respond to complaints. Even service request are cancelled without notifiying us we end up waiting several weeks for simple things. I have requested several times if I could visit an office in Long Island anywhere but have just been redirected to what seemed like call centers I would not recommend this place to young professionals as well as retirees. The employees here from avalon that stayed are excellent it just new management doesn’t seem to care or want to listen to its workers or tenants. If this place doesn’t change we will be looking elsewhere when our lease is up and placing formal complaints against Fairfield."

"The Avalon Glen Cove North has great amenities! The pool is my favorite and the barbecue grills in the courtyard make a delicious meal. The staff at the Avalon Glen Cove helps contribute to the overall great experience that makes me want to keep renting here. Lisa is such a wonderful Community Manager. Nicole is the best Sales and Service Supervisor, and she always keeps me informed on all the latest community events. I look forward every year to our annual Memorial Day Barbecue. Marlan, the maintenance worker, helped install my new microwave. He is such a hard worker and did a great job! Harrison is also a nice maintenance worker who is very knowledgeable. Guy, the concierge, is willing to help you with whatever you need. He goes out of his way to give a helping hand to the residents and his coworkers. Luis works so hard in keeping the carpet clean and smelling fresh everyday. Sylvia is a new concierge who is very nice and keeps a watchful eye on the community. Danielle is another concierge who is also very nice and is always there to help the residents. That is the reason why I give the Avalon Glen Cove North a 10 recommendation!"

"My husband and I have been living here for over a decade. Last week, our hot water heater broke. Within less than 12 hours, it was replaced. You could not get better service in an apartment building anywhere else. Also, my husband had surgery at the beginning of the summer and the entire staff has been especially wonderful with their help and encouragement. Lisa Dutra, the community manager, always, goes the extra mile! A big thank you to Guy Ledan, the concierge for all the special things he has helped with throughout the years.......always with a smile!"
