"I lived here 50 years ago and it was still there! This residence was inherited by Japanese expatriates for generations, and has two bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. There was central heating, but it didn't work in the winter and was cold. You can have BBQ on the balcony, and the elderly couple next door had BBQ every night in the summer. Back then, the adults complained that it was originally a rather high-class property inhabited by white people and Japanese people who worked for large companies, but recently black people and Hispanic people had moved in and the atmosphere had become bad. ."
"Well-run building conveniently located next to Tuckahoe Metro-North train station and quaint village. Residents range from college grads to retirees most of whom are long-time owners and take much pride in the property."
