"Our company requested a quote from Touch Up Home for making minor repairs to furniture in a client's hotel totaling 112 rooms. We made a good faith effort to give Touch Up Home as much information as possible, including sending pictures of repairs needed and notes on an expected timeline that had to be met. In addition, an offer was made to meet to discuss at the site to discuss the required work. Touch Up Home stated the visit was not needed, and we were given a quote for the entire job that had to be paid upfront. The technician sent to the jobsite was given hotel accommodations. The technician who was sent was not qualified or competent and could not meet expectations. The work that the technician attempted was inadequate, unsatisfactory and did not meet our standards. The technician only worked in four of the 112 rooms and did not complete repairs in any of them. This has damaged our reputation with the client. Touch Up Home was not at all concerned with making the repairs correctly and instead said we were at fault, despite our efforts to give them every opportunity to learn what was needed and meet to physically see the scope of the project. Because of this, our company has requested a refund of the deposit for the job, but were told there were "administrative" costs that added up to nearly 40% of the deposit. Negotiations to seek reimbursement were made for several days, and Touch Up Home promised to refund the payment, but would only do so in incremental amounts over up to 7 months. This despite being paid in full in one payment. Our funds are being held hostage. The attached photo shows one of the vanity bases that was left in a room where repairs were attempted."

He said he can repair all kinds of furniture, including leather repair. I am impressed and will definitely keep this company’s number."
