"Rich and Jose were great! Lifesavers really! I was in NJ on a work trip, 5 hours from home and my car started acting crazy. It wouldn't shift into 4th gear, check engine lights on, AT light on etc. I couldn't drive it over 30MPH! I stopped by Pep Boys, they could do nothing and would do nothing expect suggest call a Transmission Shop and give me the code that came up on the scanner. I looked up the code on Google, it told me the issue relating to that code and then I looked for the closest Transmission shop. Not really knowing much about cars, not knowing the area, not a lot of money, but basically unable to get home, pressed for time, stressed and stuck in NJ, reading about Transmission issues, the potential costs of Transmission related repairs etc. I had no idea what I was going to do. Needless to say, I called over to European Exchange and Rich answered, I told him the issue, he said if you can get here, just stop by and we'll take a look. He went right to work on finding out if places had parts I needed right in front of me, very straight-forward, down to earth, honest and to the point. Had one of his employees Jose give me a ride to the place my meetings were at that day, my last day in NJ and said he would have my car done by the time I got out of my meetings and would have someone come pick me up that afternoon if I needed so I could get back to my car and get home to my family safe. Long story short... Rich gave me a very fair price, gave me a ride when I needed it, and I got home safe, car running great again!!! Thanks Rich and Jose, you guys really and truly saved me! This was an ideal opportunity for a mechanic to get over on someone and these guys didn't even think twice, they just got right to work on helping the customer in front of them for a very fair price! And I thoroughly researched it all when I got home! Super grateful! Thanks again!"
"Hi, I had a unusual transmission issue with my MB RClass at about 100k miles. I was considering getting rid of the vehicle being that dealer prices for repairs were crazy. Researched around and ran this shop online. Read the reviews and went by how good they were. Met Rich, honest guy, diagnosed my vehicle. Knew what I needed and sure enough resolved my issue a few days later. I use my vehicle for work purposes so I put in a lotttt of miles. I'm currently at 166k miles in a 2 year spam since fixed and I've had no issues. Recently he just did a tranny service on it. (Oil filters etc) Highly recommend it."
"If you are looking to find someone that know what they are doing, tells it like it is and will give you an honest experience for a reasonable price then Rich is your guy. If you want a sexy showroom with coffee and muffins then pay 3 times the amount with the dealer and make sure they give you a loaner. Rich makes an unpleasant experience (no-one chooses to have gearbox challenges) as painless as possible so talk first to European Exchange, Inc. I have found 2 vehicle repair places I trust in 25 years in the US. This is one of those."
"Had a problem last Friday with my 2005 Grand Marquis. Ritchie was great and traveled a few miles to check out my car. Front clutch was gone and needed to be rebuilt. We negotiated a fair repair price and I left the car there for the weekend. Job was started first thing Monday and was fixed by Monday night. I'm happy that I picked European."
"Rich & Linda: It is no wonder why so many mechanics and vehicle owners from all around bring their transmission jobs to you to handle. Between the decades of experience, top notch facilities, huge inventory in stock and the reputation earned, your shop is the definitely the go to place. I consider myself fortunate that you are local to us, but understand why even the non-locals flock to you. Add to all of that the fact that you also cover a myriad of general vehicle repair needs and we have a one stop shop. Thanks for making the process easy. All the best."
