"What a waste of time. I brought my laptop that I had purchased from Best Buy, for a repair (spilled coffee on it). Geek Squad refused to do any diagnostics (open it or even try to turn in on), offered to ship it for repair somewhere. I’m very disappointed. Geek Squad is only good for screen replacement for a popular phone models. That’s it."
"The Geek squad here has no idea what they are doing. They tried repairing the back of my phone and completely failed. I don’t really care about what technical terms they use, point is that most ppl who drop off their phone for repairs usually want their phone the same day unless otherwise stated. They messed up my phone and basically told me I was going to be left without a phone. They wasted my time by having me come back to see if they can put it back to how I brought it in. This they did. When I tried upgrading my phone it was too late and close to their closing so they couldn’t do it. It was a complete waste of my time. I even missed a dinner reservation. I will NEVER be using their services again. I think overall Apple/AppleCare have failed with how they provide service ti their customers."
"This experience starts off great with Kevin in sales. This young is so knowledgeable about TV’s and soundbars . We only planned on looking, it we left Best Buy after almost spending 2k on a new tv and soundbar, and that’s all because Kevin is great a sales. Now the story gets a little not so great. Basically a damaged wall mount was delivered. And that wall mount was out of stock. So I had to drive to a Best Buy and get a more expensive one m. But Edward the manager at the Secaucus store stepped up. He only changed me for the price of the original wall mount ( the difference was around $120). What great customer service. Best Buy has a customer in me for life. Big ups to Kevin and Edward, they both deserve a raise."
"I needed a new battery for my iPhone so I did a search for Apple Stores. This place came out as the nearest. I first made a call and was told they had the battery for my phone. So I went there at about 3:30 pm, but was told I need to make an appointment. So I made an appointment for 6:20 pm and went home, glad that I did not live too far away. I went at 6:20 pm sharp but nobody came to take care of me for about 30 minutes. Then a guy asked me what I was there for. I said battery replacement for my iPhone and I was there for already 30 minutes. He said they were backed up with four phones before mine and I had to go there again the second day. I said how come? He said they had an out call this morning. I said my appointment was made at 3:30 pm and how this could have anything to do with what happened this morning? The guy went into the office and came out after 10 minutes, saying that they would replace my battery the same day. Then he gave a lot of stuff on their "policies", basically saying bad things could happen but they won't be responsible. They then checked my phone with their software and I made the payment. When I finally got the phone it was past 9:00 pm. I watched before people change batteries for Android phones at a supermarket front store, it took about 15 minutes. Starting yesterday I found the Internet video and photo loading speeds of the phone have become substantially slower. I called several times today, this Geek Squad does not answer."
"I had an excellent experience with the Geek Squad from Jersey City for a TV installation. They were timely and updated me regularly. Ana and Danielle were excellent technicians and when there was a glitch shortly after they left (no fault of theirs!), they returned same-day and fixed. Everything works perfect and I was highly impressed with the work ethic shown. Fantastic customer service and I would use them again!"
