Tony's Power Equipment Repair 2034 New York 32, Modena, NY 12548

"I got my mower back from Tony’s for a slipped belt. Before I finished using it for the first time the belt fell off again. Then my mower spent 8 weeks in his shop from August- October. No communication was given on how long it would take when I would call. On Monday October 2 I was told my mower would be delivered to my house the next day. I dropped off my check Tuesday morning and went out of town. Check because he charges more to use your credit card. I left my vacation early on Thursday so I could mow my lawn before a rainy weekend, only to find out that my mower still hadn’t been returned to my home. Again no phone call. And you guessed it during my first mow the belt slipped off again. I posted my discuss on FB as it’s America and I have freedom of speech. Tony saw my post. Called me childish and refused to fulfill his warranty of fixing it or reimbursement for his poor service. His cocky attitude and lack of communication is enough not to ever use him but add on the incompetency of the work I don’t know why anyone would use him."

"I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Tony’s. I have purchased several essential yard maintenance equipment items from them and have had a bunch of my preexisting gear repaired there. Every time the experience has ben a pleasure from the friendly bantering with the ladies at the front desk or from Tony himself with the full breakdown of what my needs are for the job at home I am trying to accomplish; I have always been treated with patience, understanding, and honesty. Recently I brought my craftsman mower that was having carb issues in to fix. I was fully expecting to have to wait a few weeks since it’s mid summer, which they fully explained was probable with all the repairs the already had going on. Two days later they called me to pick it up. No lie, it was fixed and serviced and cleaned and shined up like it was brand new. I am not the best at taking care of my gear but they are the best at fixing it. The fact that they cared I was in a spot with my mower and the season being so rainy, they slid me in for a quick fix where they could. I am super grateful, super happy, and super satisfied. I say 5 stars all day! You’re a fool to go somewhere else. The prices are fair and work is great. And service is fantastic. Thank you everyone! Matt M"

"I was troubleshooting a chainsaw for a friend and I wanted to verify what I'd found. Tony had one of his mechanics look at the saw and verify my diagnosis. He took the time to get a borescope and showed me the inside of the cylinder indicating the cylinder was scored. Tony and the mechanic were really helpful and didn't charge for the time, they also gave me the best parts pricing possible."

"i had a very bad experience with this company. I did not wanted to write a review but i had enough , i took two lawn mowers last summer for repair and since day one they just turn off after a little while from mowing ,i thought that they wore getting over heated but now i believe is not possible that both lawn mowers to be completely messed up . The season just started and i don't have anything to cut my grass , after i spend so much money on both repairs and both machines are maybe two years old each. i do not recommend this place."
