"I went to this location in hope that requesting a senior tax accountant would help my situation. I do my taxes myself every year however I had an unusual situation this year that needed me to have a revision as I was missing a form when filing it myself. The result was I overpaid taxes to the state and I should have received a larger amount. I spoke to Gisselle Rojas and explained my entire tax situation, emailed her copies of everything she needed and when filing my taxes I kept finding silly mistakes she made which I shouldn’t have to, such as my incorrect date of birth, my incorrect phone #, her forgetting to enter an important dollar amount on one of the lines which now leads me to have an amendment plus another wait for the NYS to systematically try to correct the issues and issue the refund I am suppose to get. Her response time to my emails were terrible, if I called and had a question she never knew the answer as she needed to “call or email me back”. This is completely shocking for a “senior tax accountant”. I am disappointed, this was a complete inconvenience especially as I was traveling out of country and needed it done in a timely manner correctly, and feel as if I wasted $100 to pay someone to mess up my taxes."

I swear by this gentleman.......the first taxes he did for me he also reviewed taxes done by another accountant I was going to at that time.....and he found errors......he got me monies that I should have been receiving.....I trust him and I also ask questions and he gives me the answers so that I understand. I have recommended H&R Block to various of my apartment neighbors and given out the coupons to help with the cost. Some of us are retirees and living on only S.S. But I hope to see Mr. Kurant next year. H&R Block are the people to go to get your taxes done properly."
