Reviews of Charlotte Harbortown Homes
"All things being equal it's OK here. It's quiet. There doesn't seem to be any drama or loud music and that's a big plus in my book. It's a big building with 250 apartments and that's a lot of up keep and so far as I can tell they do the best they can. I've been here for two months and have seen a few roaches but I keep a clean kitchen. If dishes sit in the sink they are rinsed first and counters are wiped down. The building has a trash compactor and 250 apartments, that's a lot of trash and possible messy apartments so roaches are here. It's like living in NYC they are just a part of life. You can get an exterminator to come to your apartment cause the management doesn't want roaches any more than the residents. You are allowed space heaters but for the most part I haven't used mine much as it is usually around 73⁰ in the apartment but when the wind is 30mph with a temp of say 10⁰ the space heater is good. The residents seem nice I haven't had any issues but then again I keep to myself. My only issue is with the fitness room. Three treadmills and not one of them works. There is a recumbent bike but the heart rate monitor doesn't work. There are two elliptical machines. I know one works not sure about the other. There a rowing machine with no pulley. So really the fitness room is kind of pointless. The office does things at their own pace but it seems like they get lots of questions during the day so things get slowed down but they do get done."
"I've lived at Charlotte Harbor town for a year and a half and I really haven't had any issues. I live in a townhouse in the back and it's been pretty uneventful back here in my opinion. The only thing that bothers me is the amount of litter back here. I see the same garbage for months not being picked up but instead blown around. I pretty much stay inside my apartment though so it doesn't bother me that much. Overall I'm happy to be here and don't plan on moving for a very long time."
"Updated appliances is totally false. You shouldn't have to put in a request more than once for a leaky fridge since 2013. Once maintenance tried to install the exact same freezer piece that he left out with to switch for a new replacement piece. I ask to see the switch out and what do you know it was the same. I was shocked because not all maintenance would pull such a thing. The freezer causing the leak into the fridge is still not fixed. I may have this fridge removed. It's caused way too much time of emptying bowls full of water. I don't see how I've delt with it. Living near the harbor is a plus. I just hope certain jobs can be taken more seriously before I think of moving somewhere else."
"Do not move here. This is the worst complex I ever lived in. If I could give no stars I would. I lived here for 4 years and my units bath tub leaked the whole 4 years. Maintenance did not know what they were doing at all. I have video of the leak and it looks like it was raining in my unit. If I could give no stars I would. I have moved out the unit 2 months ago and have yet to receive my security deposit back. No damage to the unit or anything at all (which I have pictures of how the unit was left). The lady that answers the phone (Lisa) does not know anything at all. I keep getting the run around about MY SECURITY DEPOSIT. If you can move somewhere else please do. They spend more money on redecorating their office instead of putting it where it should go back into the units and the laundry room ( which barely works)."
