The Residence at Hornell 500 Residence Way, Hornell, NY 14843

"We moved in about two months ago and we love it here. Not only is the apartment nice but the building is nice also. The building is always clean and smells good. The neighbors are nice and you rarely hear anyone making noise. When we moved in we didn’t really have options on which apartment to choose so we do have the smallest layout but it’s still a gorgeous apartment. The property manager Nicole is great. My only complaint is, the people who lived here before us let their child draw and put stickers/glitter everywhere. There are marker and crayon marks all over the apartment, including on the walls, inside the closet, and on the window blinds. There’s glitter and marker stuck in the carpet in a few spots around the apartment. There’s stickers and sticker residue on the closets and window frames. Other than what the previous tenants did I have no complaints."

"The apartments are pretty nice but the unit we were given was out of commission for some time and had been lived in pretty hard by previous tenants and isn’t up to par for the price of the apartment. Tried to call the property management company several times but I’m guessing they just ignore complaints as there was no answer and the voice mailbox was full. The one person they have working is nice and friendly but way overworked and unfortunately overpromises. Had everything ready to move in at 1 PM on the move in date which was the time given for a walk though and was already later than we had hoped. At 12:59 PM got a call saying it wasn’t ready. Could not move in on the date the lease was signed for and countertops are still falling apart. Just not a good initial experience and severely complicated our schedule for now up to a week. I will attatch photos that are from 3 hours after what was supposed to be our scheduled walk through. I hope my opinion changes but I just expect more when paying $1500+ in Hornell, NY. Proceed with caution."

"The Residences at Hornell are owned by Mr. Eric Bassett who is an unethical disingenuous slime ball. Earlier today, day 3 of our stay my girlfriend was walked in on by some creep related to Mr. Bassett, the man did not identify himself and startled my girlfriend pretty badly. If you’re okay with strangers walking in on you in a vulnerable state and disrespectful management this is the place for you, I’d strongly encourage looking elsewhere"

"My wife and I lived at the Residences in Hornell for the past 4 years. During our time there, the staff was very kind to us and was available whenever we needed them. Which to be honest, we rarely ever needed maintenance at our apartment. The one time we needed something fixed, the maintenance staff got to it right away. It is a quiet community and we got along with all our neighbors that we met. We liked that the apartment buildings were located in a more secluded spot, but were also just a short walk away from many pet friendly places where we took our dog: doggy daycare, public dog park, and dog grooming services. Our first floor apartment was the perfect size and it was convenient for us to let our dog outside and go for walks around the grounds that were always maintained. We truly loved our first home and would still be living there had we not bought a house."

"Five star urban living in the country, administration has been great with my needs and questions. Cleaning crew in the halls always smells nice and clean. My children really enjoy it here nice to see families with pets walking and meeting other families from around the world. I travel a lot and see it all great place still expanding."
