"I’ve lived here for 6 months and have had nothing short of a great experience. Huge apartment with great amenities. Great management responsiveness and good maintenance!"
"This place has paper thin ceilings/floors and walls. You can easily hear your neighbors conversations or loud footsteps. If you so wish to rent this place because of the new building looks, please do yourselves a favor and make sure to rent a unit with no one above you (top floor units or some second floor units)."
"Lived at The Corvo for a year with my puppy. Good experience overall. Very close to UB but building is not full of students. Not many issues at all and management was very responsive. Very peaceful place to live, about 20 minutes from the city and 10 minutes from major shopping areas."
"Brand new building built in 2021. Good location for UB students. A quiet area. Across the street from a small park. Sound is a big issue. Walls are paper thin. Able to hear clear conversations with neighboring tenants. Upstairs tenants can be constantly heard walking. Have discussed the noise complaint with management on multiple occasions and it is taken care of for a short time but noise issues need to be addressed on a larger scale. Walk-in Shower leaks constantly due to no door being attached and relying on shower curtain. Nonetheless We had a good experience living at The Corvo until the end of our lease. Management is unprofessional when it comes to returning security deposit. Was told when we returned our keys that the accountants would handle forwarding our security deposit within a couple of weeks. Contacted Leasing manager for a status update on the check but was told that we would not be getting security deposit back because the leave of notice was late. However unit was filled shortly after notice of lease was given and new tenant moved into unit a few days after our keys were handed in. Management did not lose money on our 25 day notice vs 60 day notice but state will be keeping security deposit."
