"I lived at Foxbrook for two years. One year in a two-bedroom unit, the second year in a single. The location was good, and the maintenance and office staff were friendly and reliable. However, I had major issues with heat at both apartments. We were always SO cold, and our electric bill was sky high in the winter as a result. We tried so hard to contain the heat, but it was just impossible. After speaking with a few neighbors in the complex, we realized we weren’t the only ones dealing with that issue. Yes, we live in Buffalo, and it is cold...but honestly, it shouldn’t cost nearly $300/month (in heating bills) to keep a tiny apartment at 68 degrees! It was ridiculous :("

"The apt was rented out from under us. We applied and they force you to do a background check and pay for it before you can even view it. We did everything timely. The day we saw the apt we finished my part of the application and they said it was already rented. Why even have us show up for a viewing? These places need to be more honest with people. We wasted time and my boyfriend cannot get the money he wasted back now or the gas to go out there, or the time off to look. It is not right how these places treat people."

"I don't understand why there is set income levels for these apartments, when they accept housing vouchers. How many people with a housing voucher make $2,800.00 a month. No one would qualify for a housing voucher if they made that kind of money. This makes no sense. This is pretty important information. It should be posted on their website to keep people with housing vouchers away. They shouldn't be on the Belmont list either."
