"Not good. Followed up about a previous inquiry, was met with impatience and unwillingness to help. The first person i talked to a few weeks ago through CA technical support line was helpful and patient. Although he didn’t know much about the specific devices i was asking about, he offered me # numbers and took my information so he could look into it further and get back to me. Today, understanding it’s a long shot(since it’s a discontinued device) I asked technical support of the same branch if they had contact with anyone who has technical experience with products from this time. From a different employee this time, he repeated anyone that worked with those devices are not with Vitec anymore, and increasingly got annoyed when i asked if he could put me in contact with anyone who could answer a few questions about the device. He claimed to have worked for vitec for 10 years. Because of their long employment, I would think this person would have dealt with many of these same requests and have the most resources of anyone at the company. Now i know why there are many complaints online about the lack of support from VITEC for old products. I’m unhappy that i invested money into old equipment with no trace of old software. can’t afford the server space for a few mb? or have a backup somewhere? But i’m happy that i didn’t invest more money into VITEC to be met with this experience down the road. Thanks for saving me a lifetime of headaches working with your technical support VITEC."

"I was having problems with an app on my computer that I use for work. I had a finished project that I couldn’t send to my client because of the problems it was giving me. The deadline was coming up and I was afraid I would have to delete everything and start from scratch which would have taken me weeks. The tech I spoke to was beyond helpful and so very professional.
