"Attempted to buy a house listed with Marilyn at Vandewater Associates Land Co. We put in multiple offers that we thought were fair. Marilyn said he insisted we put in a FULL price offer, & because we loved the house, we did. We just spoke to the homeowner, and he NEVER received ANY of our offers and wasn't told about any of them. He's elderly and caretaking a home he doesn't live in. I'm absolutely appalled. Please do NOT list with them. I have all the paperwork that we sent saved, our pre-approval and messages between our realtor and Marilyn. Absolutely shameful."

"Bought property within a huge tract marked "Vandewater and Associates", property had deeded rights of way, 50 foot width, . Owner david Vandewater has done everything he can to block my use of the rights of way. My opinion of the guy is not good at all. 7 years of litigation cost more than the land. Avoid this business like Ebola."
