Colorful Nails

"3 stars bc the staff was friendly. Place was clean. The rest is just down the drain from there. I went there for bridal nails. Came out extremely disappointed. Horrible pedicure job with uneven color placement. Also got French tips with dip powder. The whole thing looks like an amateur joke. Tips are crooked and upturned. Powder job was uneven, and when I asked to fix it, it was just so unsalvageable, I paid and hurried out the door. Should have read reviews but went bc it was nearby and I hoping to save time. I will not be returning."

"Easily the absolute best nail place near NHP. They take their time to ensure your nail shape and paint are perfect and I’ve never been unhappy with a manicure. The pedicures are truly the best and I’ve been everywhere in the area. The ladies that work there are very kind and considerate."

"They do rush jobs and force you to tip. The Manager is nasty and rude. She kept texting me asking me why I did not tip. I was going to but, when she was persistent about tiping them i was turned off. I blocked her. Look at yelp reviews. DONT GO... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.. she even yelled at me. Disrespectful.."

"The place was gorgeous but the lady did not do my nails well. First she did not shape them correctly. Second they applied the polish on too thick. Both were evident even as time passed"

"Colorful nails has been my favorite nail salon for YEARS now. I recently moved out of New Hyde Park and I travel 45 minutes just to keep getting my nails done here. I felt I needed to write a review recently because I didn’t realize how good I had it until I moved haha. Sammie and her crew are SO sweet and always do such an amazing job. They are so clean (pre-pandemic) and even more sanitized during this pandemic time. They always have the best color options for pedicures and gel manicures. The two pictures I posted , the first one is a day after I got them done (gel manicure) and the second picture is a WEEK LATER (still perfect!) Thank you Colorful Nails ladies!"
