"Modern Spa is extremely clean and the staff is super friendly. Also, the services are the best quality for the price anywhere on the upper west side. Most of the spa pedicures include 10-20 minute massages which is such a great deal. They also offer chair massages which you can just walk in for, and also facials and in-room massages. The gel manicures always look amazing and they last a long time, and modern spa is my first choice for spa pedicures as well. Finally, they’re great about their rewards program and give discounts and a punchcard."

"First time coming to this Salon and I loved my experience! The decorations are very calming and extremely elegant. I came for waxing and pedicure and the staffs were well mannered and took my preferences to heart. They did an awesome job for both and I especially enjoyed my pedicure. I had a long day and the staff really let me relax and forget my stressors for the stay. I would definitely recommend trying this place out and I will be back next time. I want to try out the massage!"

"I had a great experience at modern spa, my nail tech did a great job and the price was fair! the salon was clean and cute. The communication to make an appointment was easy and straightforward. My only reason for giving it a 9 instead of a 10 is because its a little bit far for me and my friends, and also because my nails ended up being a bit shorter than I wanted. I will definitely be back!"

"Amazing work by Sue. I was recommended her by a friend and she really outdid herself. Took an hour and 15 mins. She did everything by hand and took my photos of inspiration and turned them into reality. Spent 140$ not including tip. Worth it in my opinion cuz I only get my nails done once a year for Halloween."

"Nicky Crushed It!! I recently moved to the neighborhood from Williamsburg and have been on the hunt for a new Natural nail tech who knows their way around modern French nail designs. Her attention to detail was on point & she took her time. All nails are the same shape & the line work is rather even. The pedicure was rather basic, but again the attention to the grooming detail was great. Total for reg pedi & gel on natural nails with design + tax $108. Super competitive in the neighborhood!! Will definitely be coming back to Modern Spa!"
