"Beware they are not liable for any damage to property. Ordered $1200 worth of stone for my house. Upon delivery, driver used machine to place materials on driveway. While doing so he hit and damaged my trex deck, azak trim and gutter system causing a few thousand dollars in damage. They told me they are not liable for any damage as the driver was not supposed to go on property. I have video of the driver being told he is going to hit the deck and he proceeded to drive the machine into it. They still will not take responsibility. Horrible customer service. Would never use again"

"Went to check brick selection which wasn’t much they have stone collection full of yard since this oceanside is more popular for stone thats what i was told in there. So I couldn’t purchase or select anything but saw wrought iron doors display and bbq station display there"

"I live in Queens. I went to Dees nursery in Oceanside to find some slate pavers. They had a display in parking area with no sign and open bins. I took about 10 pieces and went to pay. The manager said they were not for sale individually. Okay so put up a sign folks! I tried Home Depot who didn’t have what I needed either. So a man at Dees suggested KINGS building materials in Oceanside on Long Beach Road. Wow! They have an amazing assortment of beautiful slates and stones and pavers. Nathaniel helped me. I told him I needed some irregular shaped slates to piece in a garden area on the side of my house. I have a dog that gets really muddy paws (digs). Nathaniel showed me some rectangle size slates. They were beautiful. But I told him I needed irregular size slates to piece together to combine with what I have. He told me to break them up with a hammer. That way I can make the sizes I need. So I asked how much for 4 slates he said nothing I’ll give you 14. Nathaniel went out of his way with just a very small order just to help me. I went home and did what he suggested and it worked out great! In the near future I am wanting to build a patio outside. I definitely will be going back to KINGS for advice and materials! "Ive been buying from oceanville for about 2 years now . the reason i gave them 5 stars is because of a recent acquisition of a new employee called Marcos, i knew marcos from a previous mason supply i used to buy from . This person is very attentive and respectful. He's curious and always is willing to take care of a customer. Glad to see oceanville has this guy, I'm sure soon they will see business getting better and reviews being a little more positive in respect to there employees . "I came here to price the cost of Cambridge bricks for my patio and initially, I was given good service by Rubin. Once I came back and actually placed the order, things changed. I had to come back and order additional materials and Rubin and the rest of the staff had absolutely no patients with me. I am not a contractor so I have questions and want to be sure that I am getting the right product and the staff was very dismissive. They made me feel like I had to rush my decisions. I ordered $7,000 in bricks from this place and you would think they would act like they appreciated my business when I came back to place additional orders but that was not the case. I went into the showroom to look at the cultured stone options and the lady there acted like I didn't exist. And when I asked her questions, she acted like I was bothering her. She absolutely provided no assistance so I had to grab the catalogues and read them overnight to understand what I needed. The next day I placed the order after making a decision overnight and another sales man that was calculating bills at the registered offered to help me but had no patients. He was better off not helping me and I noticed his reluctance. He took the order and told me that it would take 2 days to be delivered which was actually incorrect. This is because the next day I came back to place a small order for some additional sand and I asked Rubin on the status of my previous order and whether it would take 2 days and he mentioned it wasn't there and I would receive a call when it arrives. He didn't even check the order invoice to see if to was there because he has no patients with customers and is lazy. He was quick to dismiss me after I just spent more money on sand. Come to find out, I had a voicemail on my phone from the day before indicating that my stone would be there in 1 day, which is the same day and time that I asked Rubin to check on my order. Bottom line, there is no reason to do business with people that don't appreciate your business or value you as a customer. This company is over entitled because they may have had consistent good business. I RECOMMEND ALL PEOPLE AND CONTRACTORS LOOKING TO OBTAIN BRICKS TO GO ELSEWHERE. I ALSO NOTICED PRICES CHEAPER IN SUFFOLK COUNTY AS WELL AND ALTHOUGH A FURTHER DRIVE, ITS WORTH IT DUE TO BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BETTER PRICING. I AM SAD I SPENT SO MUCH WITH THIS COMPANY BUT I WAS ALREADY IN TOO DEEP WITH THE JOB. THIS EXPERIENCE WAS TERRIBLE."
